What does your school think of MCR?

My school is a lost cause. I have a picture of Bob and Frank on my binder and here's the conversation:

"Ewww. -Points to Frank- He looks like a girl."
"And WTF?! is with the other guy's hair?"

I hit her with my binder, adn she looked at me as if I were homicidal.

And the kids that do know MCR are usually saying "EMIGAHHHH, MCR!! Their new song is soooo hawt." Literally those are the words.

People in my school only know WTTBP and then babble on about Gerard and I mumble teenie under my breath The whole school is full of Teenies it so isnt fair

MCR aren't even talked about at my school anymore; they are no longer in the top 10 in the charts.

All the guys call them emo fags. D:< Some of the girls like them, but the rest I'm not sure..

Sub in Media today was naming all the bands he likes, and looked at my Black Parade shirt, and said, "I like My Chemical Romance, too."

Girl stopped me in the hall, and said, "I love your shirt! 30 Seconds to Mars is awesome!"

I was wearing my MCR armband underneath my jacket-yes I'm a dork-and someone thought I was a murderer.

The kid who asked me about the Ghost of You told me today that he thinks it's the best music video ever....I have a feeling it's because it's war-like and someone dies. He's one of those people who plays Halo or whatever a lot.

People seem to know who they are and not like them or not know who they are and not like them. Except for the awesome people I know and some other people who I don't like.

well, basically anyone who likes music likes mychem at my school. one of my friends' friends plays not okay really well. and everyone's like, "Agh, MCR's new album is SOO kick-ass!" i almost actually had to make a list of how many people wanted burned copies of TBP, but i told them to fuck off and buy it themselves.
one of the history teachers is completely and utterly obsessed with MCR. it's not even funny. o.O
and one day, my friends and i walked into drama class singing welcometotheblackparade and...mrs. flannagan started singing along. 'twas really akward. but awesome. she knows basically everything about mychem because of us. and she loves it.
lots of teachers love mychem. it's very weird.
one of the preppiest preps(valedictorian last year) was OBSESSED with them also.
my school is really cool.
when all the preps, jocks, cheerleaders, AND nerds love mychem... that's just rad.

I have maybe 3 friends who like them and have/have heard the cd. I saw one guy with a MCR t-shirt, which gives me hope. They're are people among us, but my school is full of preps, and I fall under the I-fall-into-the-cracks-of-normal-and-not-one-group-or-another type of person. So it isn't a lost cause at my school *wipes forehead*

Actually, a lot of people in my school like them.
But, some of them of course *cough*preps* don't like them.

"Why is he wearing make-up?"

In my art class, people don't like them, but they won't talk shit about them, because well - they know me and Mr. B are good friends and I could get them to lose their Friday night sex to a six page essay on the Mona Lisa. Burn.

Well let's just say I'm very different from the people at my school. I do know that MCR 'scares' a lot of people at my school. I know of a few fans of them, most of them being my friends, but I know that there aren't many at my school.
