C: Mike Carden? I’m Catherine from Australia.
MC: Oh right on! Hey, Listen, I was just in Michael Guy Chislett’s room. Our little friend.
C: Is he there right now?
MC: No, I just left, I’m going down to my own room now.
C: Oh damn. ‘Cause you know I’m like the only person calling you here without an American accent.
MC: I know, I know, I would go down right now if I could and get you… acquainted with all the culture and what not between you two. Um.. So I know is… is “heaps?” Is that right? “Heaps?”
C: …What? I don’t know what you’re talking about, sorry?
MC: No, it’s cool, like Mike says “heaps” a lot. Is that right or no?
C: -laugh- Uhh, yeah I say it a lot too I guess.
MC: Really?
C: Yeah.
MC: Really? Cause I mean he says “mate” a lot too. And I know what that is…
C: That’s pretty normal. Mate is like, an everyday word here. There’s nothing wrong that.
MC: Exactly, I mean, there IS nothing wrong with that. Um, Thank you so much for calling and now, um, I’m almost at my room and we’ve been answering the phone on and off all day and you know…
C: I can imagine.
MC: Its…but, uh, thank you so much for calling! We’re gonna come, or we’re trying, at the end of July and hang down out in Australia and it’s going to be so fun
C: Only if you promise to come to the West Coast! Please?
MC: Okay, Okay, I will, I will! I’ll talk to Michael Guy Chislett about it, he’ll know exactly what I’m taking about, okay?
