Okay, I'll post a pic to give a demonstration of some of my piercings.
Please find enclosed: snakebite (2x lip rings), eyebrow, nose, earlobes (x 3 each), tongue, labret (which I'm going to get repierced, I took it out due to the damage it did to my gums), monroe (which was a home-job and I removed due to muchmuchmuch swelling), navel, tragus, daith, and throat.
I think that's all.
Yes, I said throat. this pic gives a fairly good indication of its prescence - just in the hollow above where the collarbones meet. I got it for Christmas last year (actually, I got it on January 3 or 4 this year, with cash I got as a gift), and decided that all the cool kids are getting nape piercings, so I'd be different and get it at the front of my neck. Muahaha.

My friend tried to do it with a tag.
It wouldn't come out.
She had to walk around with it in her nose for a week. |

my friend tried to put the plugs in herself, when he started to guage them and she ripped her lobe. ew.
if you've had your lobes pierced normally for, a good few years, can you begin to get them guaged with the original holes that are already there? [or do they have to repierce it with a larger needle?] |

Hmmm, not sure about that...what I did (which is quite dumb, I must say) was just sticking things through my already pierced ears...like nails and pen ink cartridges. But the metal used in iron nails is not the same as earrings, so it didn't react well with my healing skin. Rusty ear goo. Not fun.
So I ended up just deciding to stop before it got to bad. My ears are still normally pierced though. :]
Buuuuut, I have a feeling that they don't remove skin from your ears...that would be risky. Plus, hence the name "stretchers." |
