I got my tickets yesterday to see them in December.
Anti-Flag's opening up for them, along with The Bled and Saosin.
I'll be seeing both Alexisonfire and The Bled for my second time.
It will be amazing. I can't wait. (8
I was thinking about buying tickets to see them too - at Arrow Hall. |

Age: 35 Gender: Female Posts: 521 | December 6th, 2007 at 03:41pm Hey, I just wondered if anyone had any AOF songs that aren't on the albums or if anyone had any demos that they wouldn't mind uploading onto Megaupload
I found lyrics to these songs, but I don't have them. Does anyone have?
My God Is A Reasonable Man
Thrones
Sweet Leaf

They were like no other band I've seen before!
George was incredible - he really got the crowd into, and he came right up to me, so I got to touch him!
They didn't play Control (which is my fave AOF song), but the played an awesome setlist:
Accidents
Happiness By the Kilowatt
This Could Be Anywhere in the World
Boiled Frogs
Mailbox Arson
We Are the Sound
You Burn First
Get Fighted
Ahhh, it was just... jkhgjkhguirhagg. I can't even describe it! |

Seriously now.
Hearing that they're writing new material excites me. A lot.
Though I do hope George continues to keep up the screaming. -is selfish- |

Age: - Gender: Female Posts: 19598 | April 22nd, 2008 at 05:41am They're my favourite live band.
They put on one hell of a show, and don't need glitzy pyrotechnics and that stuff to do so.
George has incredible stage presence. I touched him. =]
He came right up to the barrier, where I was standing.
I really want them to come back to Australia again.
I'd see them a million times over. |

I read about it in Kerrang! and I thought they meant the Birmingham barfly,
so I got all excited and then searched it on the internet & it's in London. ;_;
I can't get to London. |

Apparently a few days ago on a radio station Wade said that they are breaking up. A lot of people on their myspace are saying it's a joke, and Wade never really takes anything too seriously, so it's probably nothing to worry about!
Either way, I shit bricks when I read about it though! |

hey Jenn,
I can assure you, Alexisonfire is NOT breaking up. Far from it. I just went to the jam space and listened to 10 new songs.
As for the band not addressing it, while i can appreciate that the thought of their break up was upsetting, the band means no disrespect by not addressing it - sometimes addressing the rumour, fuels the fire.
You are getting your news from a site that isn't the bands site. We have no affiliation to alexisonfire.ca - the band has always said, to trust only what they read on the official site. everything else is suspect.
the band's website is www.theonlybandever.com and their myspace page is www.myspace.com/alexisonfire - Trust me, if the band was breaking up...they would respect the people that the reason for their careers (fans) and tell them very truthfully.

Hi Jennifer,
Thanks for checking in. We don’t know anything about Wade’s comments, and no one in the US has been told the band is breaking up. In fact, I spoke with management last week and I know the band is writing songs as we speak. I really don’t think this is true on any level.
Also, Dallas has not moved to Los Angeles.
Sorry I can’t tell you much more, but I wouldn’t take these comments by Wade too seriously. I can assure you that we’ll be the first ones to know if anything happens with AOF.
Thanks!
This is the last time I spiral into hysteria over a rumor!
