i know this is bad, but they are getting so mainstream now. >.< i still love them no matter what but i feel just blah. its so funny because i used to tell everyone to listen to them and stuff and my friends would search through my ipod and say "whenever i go in here i see bands ive never heard of and dont wanna hear" and when i showed them this they would laugh and now i hear them singing it and blah. >.<

^ The only reason they are getting mainstream is because of Snakes On A Plane,
which I think Btw, is wondeful.
I'm glad that they got picked to be on the soundtrack.
They must have been extatic.

I love them. x0

Haha, I saw snakes on a plane yesterday.
And I was there with this black metal-guy, and then New friend request started playing.
And I sang along.
Everyone in the audience stared at me, and the guy I was there with didn't speak to me after that XDDD

It bugs the shit outta me that they list "Cupid's Chokehold" as off "Cruel As School Children".
Their idea to make a single again was terrible, it created the msot annoying bandwagon fans ever.
They've evolved musically from Cupid's Chokehold, I'd like tot hink, and instead of giving the fans a new single,
they give a second video that quite frankly sucks.
New Friend request was poised to be the single, there was even a video.
And releasing it to media as being off of Cruel As School Children? wtf?
It makes me so mad.
I don't even like ACASC.
Papercut Chronicles actually bothers to deal with human emotions,
the new album I feel was more of just, you know, pure 'rap-pop' with no real ethic behind it.

Agreed. (Although this is kind of a delayed response. meh.)
I remember when I first heard about the re-release of Cupid's Chokehold.
& I couldn't help but think, "Why is this necessary?"
The 2nd video sucks, & it does nothing to represent As Cruel As School Children.
I mean, don't get me wrong. I love that song to death.
& while it did a lot to build on their fanbase
-- it's catchy as hell & features a member of FOB. Of course kids are gonna love it--
There are plenty of songs that are actually on ACASC that would've achieved the same ends.

But the first one had Patrick in it, too.
It was still better than the second one, though.

And it's kind of weird to hear people sing CCH in the halls at school.
I never excpected them to become kind of underground/mainstream-ish, if you get what I'm saying.
I feel bad for it, too, because they really are a good band, but I just never pictured them like, not being only my babies.
It's a good feeling, though.
Especially after 10 years, they really deserve it. =]

I love them, they're my favorite band.

I saw them last Friday and I was blown away. I fucking touched Travis (who in my opinion is like a god).

Wow, just wow.
