Lol, well it's only because they're going to Come Together on the Sunday xD
Woo, TLE & MM9 & Gyro & Children Collide & Birds of Tokyo & TGP & Mammal all on one day!!
... although some of the awesomeness is cancelled out by Acid Eyeliner playing as well. Even their name is shit. And they used to play at The Ori, and they were complete fuckwits hahaha
I still can't believe they're coming to Katoomba.
It's basically unheard of for a good, non mellow or hip hop, band to come here.
The only one I can think of that's been here is Regurgitaor (which was one of the most random gigs ever, it was just a one off as well, they weren't even touring at the time!)
Ahhh I am so excited ;D
MM9 are AMAZING live.
They supported Grinspoon last time I saw them, and I just fell in love with them lol.
They're so different to Grinspoon, so it was a bit of an odd choice of support band, but it made the night so much better because we didn't have to listen to 3 bands that sounded really similar lol.
I literall just bought my tickets to Mammal about 5 minutes ago xD
I'm exciteddddd
yes, MM9 is pretty good! i checked them on myspace once & they have some solid stuff there! ahah going to gigs 2 days in a row...i've pissed off my parents by telling them I'm seeing IKTPQ but wait till they find out I'm seeing TDWP the night before. I'm tearing the house down.
That so reminded me of their song Inciting. I love how their lyrics become all appropriate like that. I'm forever quoting "Let me make this crystal clear; hell yeah!"
Oooh. New Breed Judas just came up on shuffle. How appropriate.
That's a massive record by the way. My most is 3 - BDO, MCR, Trivium. And that killed me. Though, not as much as Pyramid does. Gotta love 4 days of music and sleep deprivation haha.
so, does anyone like The Herd?
Their a hip hop band from Sydney [at least I thought they were from SydneyxD].
Their song; The King Is Dead, is my song of the year xD
Haha, Urthboy is from the Blue Mountains. Instant win lmfao.
Nah it's pretty cool though, because it means we get Urthboy, or The Herd or Hermitude gigs a fair bit lol.
But yeah, they're awesome.
As some of you may know, The Living End have been recording the album in Hoboken New Jersey with John Agnello. Last week they flew to Atlanta to begin mixing with Brendan O'Brien. We've already heard a couple of tracks and we're getting very excited!
The album is called WHITE NOISE. It's going to be in stores on July 19 and you'll be hearing some of it on the radio in a few weeks - how fast is that?!?
Having played no shows for AGES, the band are hanging to get on stage again and show off a bunch of the new stuff (plus some old stuff of course). So we have a very very special show to announce:

Love, TLE HQ.
I hate everyone in Sydney right now. Just so you all know.
Come back home. =[
But I figured I shouldn't keep this info to myself - so if you're not on the mailing list, there you go.
AND OMG YAY FOR THE NEW ALBUM.
P.S. White Noise reminds me of The White Room. I'm almost expecting to buy it and start hearing Enemies Closer.
But really, if they're playing exclusive shows, they should play them at home.

I'm so selfish lol. It's not like we didn't get the whole The Longnecks tour exclusively, both this one just passed and the previous [so much more secretive] one. But yanno.
I freaked out when I got that email,
because I thought it was the same day as this ghey soccer game I'm going to (it was a trade-off so that I would have somebody to see BJM with lol),
but it's not, so it's all good : D
Edit;
I got the new Shihad album today!!
It's really good, not as heavy as their older stuff, but I really enjoyed listening to it all the same
I know they're technically not an Aussie band... but they're close enough lol.
Like anything in NZ that's good, we semm to go "No, it's ours."
At MB20 for example, during the encore they played Crowded House's Better Be Home Soon and after Rob was all "That's our thank you to you for Crowded House." Me and my friend just looked at each other and were like '.... they from NZ.' Haha.
Anyway. Shihad are teh awesome. If that album goes missing, Asha, don't worry, I just borrowed it.
You guize. Tinman. I saw them with Sons of Abraham on Friday night. I was amazed. After the band before them I was expecting a shit band and we almost left, but I was so glad we saw them. Cause wow. And so excited, cause they're supporting Mammal in the show I have tickets to. w00t!
