I´ve been listening Lucy in the sky with diamonds very often nowadays.
It makes me feel really happy, and the words mean a lot to me.

Yay!
The thread is moving again!
[/fan girling]

I got this thing with Let It Be at the moment, it is so powerful, it makes me cry, I know that is stupid, but it really does, it is an amazing song.

And Ringo is still my favourite at the moment, HE NEEDS MORE FANS! Totally feel sorry for him, but I like that all us Ringo fans are very protective of him, it's funny.

I kind of converted my mum to be a Beatles fan too, she is obsessed with John, she likes the faces he does, haha.

Does anyone know if Ringo is coming to Australia anytime soon?
I looked at his tour dates but I couldn't see anything.

Egad! I've rediscovered them, and now I can't live without hearing Paul's voice ever second of the day, hahaha.

^Oh you guys with your Beatles refrence usernames.....so cool...

I can never believe how little people actually know about such an amazing group. Thank God for "Across the Universe" other wise I'm not sure if they'ed know anything at all.

I have a home created hoodie with a sgt pepper durm head patch on the front and a screened image of the sgt pepper inside portrait on the back. You would not believe how many have no idea what the album is or who the people are!!! I mean how do you NOT know that? Shame on all their parents! ~ Rex

I'm addicted to the White Album, but really, it's amazing how many different genres their work has spanned. Everything from pretty little love songs ("I Wanna Hold Your Hand"Wink to crazy little experimental-esque sounding jams ("Helter Skelter"Wink.

Even if someone doesn't particularly LIKE The Beatles, I think anyone in their right mind would have to respect/admire them for what they've done.

Didn't read the entire thread I don't know if this was mentioned. But Yoko isn't the main reason that The Beatles broke up.

It's apparent that John Lennon didn't want to be associated with some of the songs he made with them. He didn't want to keep playing them forever and ever. And for a guy with the creative streak like him I understand why. One of the worst things an artist doesn't want to be associated with one song.

the beatles are the greatest band ever. seriously.
they're so amazing,
they're actually the only band who can cheer me up when i'm really upset.

and they have such diverse styles of song -- poppy love songs, experimental psychadelic-ish songs, pretty hard crazy songs, sad songs, happy songs -- and the most amazing thing is that they can pull of ALL those different styles, which is more than i can say for a LOT of popular artists/bands. and the way they've obviously had a major influence on modern music. i think they deserve all the respect they get and much more.

i love them all so much, but i have to say george is my favorite.

oh my god, i ramble so much about the beatles, seriously.
but they're just so fucking amazing and just ad4jh2t$^$%&.

sorry. xD

i absolutely love the beatles.
well not so much nowadays, now paul's just milking it.

but they were so fucking influential to rock music, it's almost unbelieveable.
in just six years together, no less! oh my god. they were just so- everything.
i'm partial to the stuff they wrote when they were on LSD. ^.^
my favorite songs have to be Strawberry Fields Forever, I Am The Walrus and Blackbird.

i just wish all of them were still around. =[

If I picked one band to listen to for the rest of my life, it would be The Beatles, hands down.
I was exposed to them at a tender age xD
My dad played it loads in the car and gave me a big pile of their old CDs.
Seriously, they are amazing.

That fucker who shot him.

yay for the thread being alive again!

i have recently fallen in love with the song oh! darling.
i never liked it as a kid. but now....my god. paul's voice is just drénched with emotion.

and i'm gettingmore and more into abbey road and sgt. pepper. because they never really interested me before either.
as a kid, the best way too scare me was to put on 'a day in the life'
(i still wouldn't recommend listening to it with your headphones on, volume up, alone in the dark.)

my brother recently moved in with his girlfriend, and he took all his beatle/mccartney/harrison/lennon dvd's with him. grmbl
i am truely tempted to re-buy all of them for myself..haha.
i would highly recommed the antology-series to you all.
its amazing<3

yesterday my boyfriend came over while i was watching the movie 'Help!'
it was quite funny explaining the plot of the movie to him.
(evil eastern people trying to get the secret sacrifical ring of ringo so the beatles have to run off tot the bahamas, alps and a 'well known palace')
his face was priceless.

oh. and paul needs to anounce some tourdates already!
