hm. i don't think anything has actually irritated me more in my entire life than that response. you don't know me, so dno't tell me to open my mind. trust me i'm DEFINETLY open minded. it's just you people, arguging weather abortion should be legal or not, i just find it amusing when people argue about something that was man made, because if it was never PUBLICIZED then we wouldn't be talking about it.
hm, the only thing that amuses me more than that is when people are so quick to judge someone they don't know, or a situation i know nothing about. i'm not saying if i knew someone that has gotten an abortion (which i do) that i would think any less of them. it all boils down to the situation. when you have sex you take the responsibilty of knowing you might get pregnant. it's the way it goes. i'm not telling you not to do it, i'm telling you to take responsibility for your actions and stop taking the easy way out
You must be an easily irritated person then.
Us people? It makes it sound like we’re from another planet.
It makes us sound inferior. Choose your words carefully.
You are living in a world where majority of things are man-made.
Because that’s what evolution has helped us to do.
Make things that are suited to our society.
If you choose to live your life by completely natural sources, then I’d say you won’t have much of a life.
There are plenty of things that go unpublicised. I still discuss them, when I find out.
Because, to your dismay, people are educated these days.
Fifty years ago, although education was alive and kicking, it was not nearly as effective as it is today.
Ethical issues are being discussed day in and out. Abortion is just one.
I don’t get it. What amused you in the first place? =/
My cousin, who is one of my closest friends, had an abortion.
Another close friend has had an abortion.
I know plenty of people that have had abortions, so I know the situation very well without ever having to deal with an abortion.
My cousin decided to have an abortion because she was childish and immature. I am in no way denying the fact that she was too much of a child to ever take responsibility for her actions. I think that her choice of having an abortion was, whilst expected, completely selfish.
My friend, who had an abortion only recently, decided that as much as she would love a child, she was only 16. She wanted to have the baby, believe it or not, but there was no way she’d ever have enough money to support her child, and herself. Her parents would not have supported her, and neither would the father of the child.
She did not take the “easy way out.” She deals with the guilt every day. She wishes that had she been out of school at least, she could’ve kept the child.
She would’ve been a fantastic mother. But why would she traumatise herself when she readily knew the consequences?
If she wanted a child, as she did, there’s no point in bringing into a world and knowing she could never support it financially. Education is important to any parent. Just because she’s 16 doesn’t change that fact.
And in saying that, my friend took complete responsibility for her actions.
There are two very different cases of abortion.
So stop talking about “wasting time” discussing a man-made medical procedure. You’re in a dream world. Because if you wish that some silly person had never publicised the procedure, you should probably take a reality check.
What is done is done. You may as well look towards the future, and discuss these issues, to prevent mistakes happening.

In my opinion, it's none of the business of people who can't have children who gets abortions.
It's hardly a little person, 90% of abortions take place before the embryo is 14 weeks. That's not something I would call a 'little person'
How is that not there business? They pray everyday of their lives that they could have a baby, and teenagers who accidentally got pregnant are throwing away embryos by the thousands each day. If I could not have kids then I would be pretty offended by that. I think it sure as hell is there business if they want it to be.
I can't have kids myself. And it hurts me to know, people get pregnant and just throw that away. When I'll never be able to have one of my own.
I'm not making it sound like no one wears protection. |

But, just because you can't conceive, it doesn't mean all the other women in the whole world cannot have the option of having an abortion. You are just one of the many women in this world who are unable to have children, but, I'm sorry, that shouldn't impact on the choices other women make. |

People decide things. I can be against it. But it doesn't mean I'll make
