The Death Sentence.

They should have live their lives thinking about what they did.

I'm not sure really.

Because, I do think that some people just don't deserve to live. People that show no sign of regret after killing numerous people, childabusers etc.
Pedophilia cannot be cured. So, death sentence can be an alternative.

But on the other hand. Who are we to decide who
can live, and who can't. Only God can decide that really.

maybe they can be cured, but we just haven't found the cure yet. and just because someone is suffering from something incurable, does that really justify the destruction of a life?

I totally agree with that statement, but sadly, we can't. Someone has to pay for the facilities to house these people, the clothes they wear, and the food they eat. If you pay taxes congratulations, that's you.

I agree with you Narin. I think pedophiles are the lowest scum on the planet.

That's very true, but death is the easy way out for these people. I pay taxes from my own money, and I'm more than happy to shell out for criminals to live with the knowledge that they took an innocent person's life.

no, we can't lock them up forever. and if a peadophile spends a few years in prison, he's let out with the same incurable disease so he offends again. and again. i think rehabilitation is a better option than death.

death sentence = getting rid of a dangerous criminal by transforming someone else into a murderer.......it's the way I see it

Ok, imagine this.

You come home from school one day, and your dad is in the livingroom with two officers. He's crying.
He tells you that your mother has been brutally raped and murdered.
The officers arrested the guy who did it, and they're letting YOU decide what to do with him.

What do you do? Wouldn't you want this criminal to die?

But you have to think about the people who have trouble paying taxes and need or would like them lower in order to live more comfortably. They are the majority.

i'd sure as hell be angry if someone i knew suffered from a crime like that. i really have no idea how i'd react because i can't imagine how awful it must feel. and of course i'd be biased, so not really the one to judge. i have no idea. i probably wouldn't be all forgiving then.

Actually, I'd rather he rot in prison for the rest of his life. That's worse than death when you really think about it.

I agree with the death sentences in soem cases but look at it this way,
A man is arested for killing 30 children, he is imidietly killed in prison.
A month later they find out that they had the wrong man all along, and soem inocent dude has been killed.

exactly.
it's easy to not care if one innocent person is killed but if you're that person....

I think if people do something SO TERRIBLY WRONG, like killed another human being, then why shouldn't they have the same pain inflicted on them? Then they would know what that person felt.
