**LoOfOo**:Family Portrait by Pink makes me cry.
Me too. As well as "Wildfire" by someone I can't recall... It's country-ish, and about a horse, but it made me cry when I was little. I still love that song.
"Memories"-- Barbara Striesand. From the play "Cats". That was so awesome. I love that play/song. xD
"Everything I Own"-- I'm not sure, but it's such a sad song.
"Alone Again" -- It's such an upbeat tune to such sad lyrics. |

Age: 30 Gender: Female Posts: 7179 | March 4th, 2006 at 01:30pm "I Won't See You Tonight part 1" - Avenged Sevenfold. Because I've been thinking about commiting suicide and I want to know how my friends and family will act.
"My Heart Will Go On" - Celine Dion. Because it reminds me of 'Titanic' and that movie makes me cry everytime.
"Knockin' On Heaven's Door" - Guns 'n' Roses. Because I was listening to G'n'R Greastest Hits while my mom was in the hospital after surgery and her heart stopped for .800 of a second, so when I hear it, I think of my mom.
"Helena" - My Chemical Romance. Because my nana died when I was two years old and I really loved her even though I can barely remember her.
"Untitled" - Simple Plan. Because I'm writing a book with my friend and one of the characters dies and "Untitled" really is a song for that character. |

Age: - Gender: - Posts: 192 | March 9th, 2006 at 12:43am Is it shallow to say that a song you wrote makes you cry? Beacause if its not, one I wrote makes me tear up sometimes beacause of what it means to me. It took so long to collect bits and pieces of my life to put into this song, and what it means is really special to me.
But if it is shallow, Early Sunsets Over Monroeville is another. |

Age: 36 Gender: Male Posts: 4940 | March 9th, 2006 at 12:51am Of course it isn't; If it deals with something rough that happened to you in your past it makes all the sense to cry if you sing it or hear it.
I have heard about people not being able to make it through songs they wrote because they couldn't hold back the tears. |
