Okay, nobody hate me for this,
But I, personally thought it was awful,
Her voice sounds too wavy for my liking,
and she really does not suit the song,
she made it sound way too wavy.
And she made Helena sound more ( to me ) a happier song, when we all know it's about a death.
She has a good voice for singing country,
but, for sure not songs like Helena.

She's a good singer, but Helena isn't the right song for her to sing.

I actually don't agree with what you guys think... I thought Terra's version of Helena was better than MCR's. Honestly. At least as the song sounds on the album, live I think they're equally as good.

But then again, I've never really liked the song in the first place, so... *shrugs*

I'm not trying to force this on anyone, but she sings it as if it were a song that everyone should laugh and dance to, not show some sympathy for the guys who wrote it, and who they wrote it for.

She sings it like a folk song, and the guys wrote it to mourn the loss of a family member. Terra Naiomi kind of degrades the song.

For the love of God, it's a fucking song.

If they didn't want the loss of their family member to be 'degraded' by the song being covered, they shouldn't have made the song in the first place. Especially making it a single.

I know, but she didn't 'degrade' anything.

It's just a song. Get over yourselves.
