Good voice.
Bad song for her.

Age: - Gender: - Posts: 2816 | July 5th, 2006 at 02:23pm Okay, nobody hate me for this,
But I, personally thought it was awful,
Her voice sounds too wavy for my liking,
and she really does not suit the song,
she made it sound way too wavy.
And she made Helena sound more ( to me ) a happier song, when we all know it's about a death.
She has a good voice for singing country,
but, for sure not songs like Helena. |

Age: 34 Gender: Female Posts: 3102 | August 5th, 2006 at 06:28pm I actually don't agree with what you guys think... I thought Terra's version of Helena was better than MCR's. Honestly. At least as the song sounds on the album, live I think they're equally as good.
But then again, I've never really liked the song in the first place, so... *shrugs* |

She sings it like a folk song, and the guys wrote it to mourn the loss of a family member. Terra Naiomi kind of degrades the song. |

If they didn't want the loss of their family member to be 'degraded' by the song being covered, they shouldn't have made the song in the first place. Especially making it a single.
