I knew I had it around here somewhere...
uh oh.
Its dirty. Like really dirty. I forgot that last time I got back from visiting my girl I accidentally spilled protein powder in it and didnt bother to clean it out of there. This thing stinks...Get a new one? nah. tough it out? yup.
Anyway, who cares about that ITS TOUR TIME AGAIN!!!!
After all this sitting around at home I am ready to play frickin rock and roll again in front of beautiful sunburned faces.
I hope everyone is ready for summer rock show extravaganza-bility.
Time to get back on the bus and not only tour but set up our little mobile recording fortress and begin to make new jams for your earholes. Dont get all sweaty yet, its just the beginning. Im looking at the laundry bag right now and it is big and smells not too great...
better get to it.
see you soon.

man o man it is hot in northern california, i have been a stow away on the west coast leg of some monster summer tour making my way up to seattle for the past week or so and boy is it a schorcher this summer, san diego was nice in the nighttime so i am pacing, fingers crossed, anticipating a breeze here in san francisco, weather dont fail me now....
everytime i find myself sweating uncontrollably i cant help but think back to live earth, i left there with a small book titled "how to survive global warming" and in turn it has left me holding onto plastic bottles for hours in search of a recycling bin and turning off each and every light i possibly can... it's slowly becoming habit and that's the whole thing, through all the press that we did on 7.7.07 one thing we kept telling everyone is that if anything comes out of live earth it's that we hope people to become more aware of their effect on their surroundings that maybe they will start to make small changes, baby steps that will lead to teenage steps that eventually lead to post adolescent steps and then adult steps... after saying it so many times, subconciously i have found myself walking to a different tune... it's a nice tune, like hearing otis redding for the first time... life changing, brilliant... so many people and media outlets seem to only focus on the element of celebrity that surrounded the event when in all actuallity it was the event that surrounded the celebrity... it's sad honestly, the focus being on u.s. royalty, that it takes people such as cameron diaz or kevin bacon, akon, who cares, to make everybody else pay attention... but who am i to talk... they are not what was important, the message however, oh what a sweet message...
anyways, man is it hot...
whew.

Age: 29 Gender: Female Posts: 4285 | July 24th, 2007 at 06:38am I know I'm SUPER late on this topic, but I had to jump in:
I don't think Adam was completely wasted on Live Earth, and even if he was I don't think that's why he was acting so weird...
I, personally, think he was just nervous to play in front of 294872039487120948 people. If you noticed, he only danced half-heartedly and stayed away from the center of the stage.
But that's just my opinion, so I could be totally wrong. |
