Apparently according to my singing teacher and my singing techers doctor;
It isn't good to have coffee on a day you're meant to sing on because Caffeine dries the vocal chords.
Alternatively, for every cup of coffee you have on the same day, you have to have 8 cups of water.
(I'm pretty sure my teacher said...it could 2...but i think 8...)
Yeah...and thats all....im not sure if this was mentioned somewhere else either....i did look....for a bit... |

Is there a difference in Gerard's voice before and after he drinks coffee? Is it noticable enough that he should stop drinking it? And if so is he even going to care? These same questions come up if you're a singer and drink alcohol or smoke cigarettes, those are even worse for your vocal chords than coffee. Me, I gave up the coffee and I don't hear a difference. |

Oh, and according to my science teacher, coffee may very well be a drug. Just not an insanely bad one. That's what makes it addicting. |

I didn't really help things by taking a job in a coffee shop, where I can have all the free caffeine I want.
It makes up for my sleep deprivation.
Plus, it gives me that extra sparkle and pep I need to be enthusiastic about anything in the morning. |

At some point, coffe isn't very good for your voice. But like most of you, I can't tell the difference! |
