Honestly, the stuff that he comes up with is amazing and just watching him play makes me want to get better and better at it.
He is one of THE best drummers out there today.

It's awesome, as is the self-titled album.
I miss them, kind of, but I don't really want a new album from them, not now, not ever.
It'd be really cool if they reunited for a tour, though.
And http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XrN7NcMXu6k pwns you. :] |

I was just about to go looking for that song...

Age: - Gender: - Posts: 43317 | July 22nd, 2008 at 03:48am But now, given A&A's undeniable success and very few whispers about a Blink reunion, is it safe to assume that the three will never make music together again?
"Yeah, we won't," DeLonge declared. "For a bunch of diplomatic and political reasons, we called it whatever back in the day, but it was a breakup. I've moved on. I believe that now I've found a place in my life where I'm happier than I've ever been and I'm with the best people I've ever been with and I'm making the best music and art I've ever made. So when people ask me if I'm ever going back to Blink, there's just no possible way. I'm in a totally different place, and I'm so happy. In Angels & Airwaves, I truthfully think it has infinite potential to be and do anything it wants to do."
surprisingly, i don't mind that at all. |

They just left on such bad terms, which is what the saddest thing about this breakup was. |

"I don't know, maybe"
its given me that hint of hope they'll do a final tour.

 | July 25th, 2008 at 09:45pm OK, let's have an honest show of hands: how many people cried when they found out they'd broken up? *raises hand in shame* Seriously, I bawled a little in the middle of my Geometry class. Those guys were the soundtrack to my first major relationship, and Mark's one of my favorite bassists of all time, simply because he really doesn't fucking act his age. I'll be straight up, A&A is some of the worst drabble I've heard lately, and +44 just doesn't cut it. I'd love a new album, but it just wouldn't be the same. It's like when you're little and you break your favorite toy, but you still don't play with it after it's fixed cuz you're afraid of breaking it again. |

i definitely cried. maybe because they were one of the very first bands to make me realise that music should make you feel something, no matter how silly it is. i love them. but i don't want them to get back together. mainly because tom seems like a right pompous dick of late. angels and airwaves make me want to tear my ears off everytime i hear them. but i love mark and travis still. those guys were the bomb. |

My heart goes out to both Travis and DJ AM's families, but especially to the families of those who were killed.
I really hope both of them can make full recoveries and can continue their lives as normally as possible.
I can't imagine the survivor guilt they're feeling right now. |
