Age: 35 Gender: Male Posts: 31 | July 13th, 2008 at 02:56am Not all of the hills are South East, Up Gumeracha, Kersbrook and Birdwood is all North East of the city. Live about 10 minutes before that heading towards Modbury/Tea Tree Gully. |

Modbury and all that area has become so popular in recent years, it's mental!
Half of my school friends live up there, so I'm becoming quite familiar with the area, lol. |

Age: - Gender: Female Posts: 19598 | July 14th, 2008 at 09:52am 20 minutes is a long time, compared to the 5 minutes I travel to get to the city!! =P |

Age: 36 Gender: Female Posts: 2281 | July 14th, 2008 at 08:33pm 5 minutes? Geez that's quick. It takes me an hour to get to the city from my place, and then a further 15 minutes to get to Uni from Melb Central. I'd kill for a 5 minuite trip. |

Age: - Gender: Female Posts: 19598 | July 14th, 2008 at 10:27pm Shit, in an hour, I could be way outside of Adelaide.
It takes anywhere from 5-10 minutes on a normal day. During peak hour traffic (which isn't anything like peak hour traffic in Melbourne or Sydney) it might take a bit longer, but not usually.
As much as Adelaide has a lot of shitty aspects, it's so good in terms of traffic and travelling, being so small. =D |

Age: - Gender: - Posts: 1416 | July 15th, 2008 at 12:12am Haha yeah, I love that about it. It takes me 20-25 on a bus, but usually only 15-20 driving. But 5 mins is crazy. |

Age: 36 Gender: Female Posts: 2281 | July 15th, 2008 at 12:53am Yeah, I'm mega jealous lol. To travel to my bf's place I have to take a train in the city and a train out, which takes like 2 hours almost.
Can't complain, I guess, cause living in a big city has it's advantages.
All my friends in Adelaide say that they can't go to Rundle Mall without knowing like everyone there. I don't think I'd like that. |
