AHAHAHA, I KNOW SOMEONE FROM ROCKINGHAM.
His name is Chris.
He's in a local metal band called 'Make Them Suffer'.
I dunno how small Rockingham is, but... maybe you know him? Lol

Haha, I have a friend who lives in Shipwright (first time she told me she's like "Yeah yeah, I know, Shit Right" and I hadn't even thought of that) and she was mentioning all these so-called weird Perth names - Kwinana was one of them.

How can you live in the north eastern hills?? The hills are south east... I used to live in the hills too, for ~14 years =) But now I'm down in the foothills, eastern suburbs.

Not all of the hills are South East, Up Gumeracha, Kersbrook and Birdwood is all North East of the city. Live about 10 minutes before that heading towards Modbury/Tea Tree Gully.

Basically, you live faaaaaaaar away from me, haha. =D
Modbury and all that area has become so popular in recent years, it's mental!
Half of my school friends live up there, so I'm becoming quite familiar with the area, lol.

Haha I know, it's ridiculous. Half my bf's school friends live up there, plus a few of my friends... and now his parents are looking for a house near there too D: which is even further away from me than before!!! *whinge*

5 minutes? Geez that's quick. It takes me an hour to get to the city from my place, and then a further 15 minutes to get to Uni from Melb Central. I'd kill for a 5 minuite trip.

Shit, in an hour, I could be way outside of Adelaide.
It takes anywhere from 5-10 minutes on a normal day. During peak hour traffic (which isn't anything like peak hour traffic in Melbourne or Sydney) it might take a bit longer, but not usually.
As much as Adelaide has a lot of shitty aspects, it's so good in terms of traffic and travelling, being so small. =D

Haha yeah, I love that about it. It takes me 20-25 on a bus, but usually only 15-20 driving. But 5 mins is crazy.

Yeah, I'm mega jealous lol. To travel to my bf's place I have to take a train in the city and a train out, which takes like 2 hours almost.

Can't complain, I guess, cause living in a big city has it's advantages.

All my friends in Adelaide say that they can't go to Rundle Mall without knowing like everyone there. I don't think I'd like that.
