People are strange
When you're a stranger
Faces look ugly
When you're alone.
Women seem wicked
When you're unwanted
Streets are uneven
When you're down.

Yeah I love The Doors. A lot. =|

Jesus Christ, do I love the Doors.
"There's a killer on the road
His brain is squirmin' like a toad
Take a long holiday
Let your children play
If ya give this man a ride
Sweet memory will die
Killer on the road, yeah."
Riders on the Storm = Amazing.

Ah, I love The Alabama Song and Riders On The Storm.

*Is listening to Light My Fire right now*

The Doors kick so much ass. :] My brother has some best of disc set, but I can't seem to get the second disc onto my iTunes. D=<
Which in turn is making me mighty sad, because Riders On The Storm is on that disc. ;_;

Oh, find it! Riders on the Storm is the best.
My favorite album is Morrison Hotel.
In Love
Brilliant.
All my Dad listens to is oldies rock, so, I get most of the good stuff from him, like the Doors.
At first, I hated the Doors, but they grew on me.

Same here. xD
My dad has a bunch of Doors albums on vinyl. :]
But it wasn't until my brother got into them that I actually started listening to them. I didn't like 'em much at first, but then I got all 'RAY IS THE BEST KEYBOARDIST EVER.' @_@

Haha, I'm actually one of those people who knows that there were other people in the band beside Morrison. xD

xD Who couldn't like the Doors?
Robby is the best, hands down.
& John, he was a really good drummer. See, you're not the only one who knew more people in the band besides Jim. xD
My brother doesn't like the Doors too much, but I don't understand the music he likes.
He doesn't know anything about the classics.

I LOVE The Doors. I piss all my mates off playing them all the time. (They have no taste lah... Hehe!) Me and my dad sit together and watch DVDs of their performances. (:

The movie, "The Doors" is kind of irritating though. I mean, its a great movie, but its like, if its going to be about Jim, call it "Jim Morrison" or "Jim" or something.

-dances-

I don't think Jim Morrison is dead, I think he's hiding out somewhere!

-has read one too many Jim biographies-

Gloria is the dirtiest/best song ever!

Plus no one can dance like Jim Morrison.

Haha, I've read too many Doors biography's as well. My favourite would have to be the one written by John Densmore. It's amazing, and probably way more interesting than any other bio I've read. :]

And I actually really liked the movie 'The Doors'. xD Though I do kind of agree it focused on Jim too much... way too much. =/ It was still a good movie nonetheless. Even if the crazy kinky sex scene in the library was insanely disturbing. @_@

Oh I agree it was an awesome movie. I just wished they had either called it something else or focused it on The Doors rather than just Jim.

I've never seen the movie, either. But my dad told me that it wasn't what he expected.

I was sort of happy that the Doors continued to play even after Jim died, but after that, it just didn't seem the same without him.

I don't think they were really up to it after Jim died. I mean, he wrote most of the lyrics (obviously with some noteable exceptions) and he had such a distinct voice... He really was unreplaceable.

He was unreplaceable, but I was happy that they didn't give up after their lead singer died. I think Other Voices & Full Circle are wonderful albums. He did have a distinct voice, & the band was never the same after Jim died, but I'm still glad they didn't give up.

You listened to them when you were 8?
Whoa, that's a whole lot younger than I started. I started listening to them around the age of 10.
