The Bright Idea.
There was a lightbulb in the bucket full of smokes at my aunt's house, and it just kinda sparked a small concept, I'm proud of it. :]

I like the black&white, but background could be something more ~natural. xD

I find it a bit dull; the subject matter is low-key anough that in order for it to really pop, color needs to be great, lighting needs to be pro, exposure needs to be spot-on, and this doesn't do it for me.

Another thing, upon noticing that most of your photos are of yourself:

Self-portraiture is fun and easy and can be really interesting, but after a while it's hard to see any true skill. If you want to gain some or show off what you have, try other things. Or other people. If you still want to shoot yourself, get a tripod and use your camera's timer - dress up and do interesting things, thought-provoking things. But other than that I wouldn't recommend it. I usually try to keep all of my self-portraits out of this thread and in the "Picture Thread" in the Chamber or my MySpace profile. Usually. ^^;

ATTACK: great concept, I love the idea.
The cropping is not the best though, the top of the bulb is cut off.
Also, the lighting could be better, it looks like you pulled up the saturation when post-processing to compensate poor lighting conditions?

When you get a good idea like this, be sure to execute it perfect Wink

SLACKER: The first one, I would have liked it to be more focused on the actual flower, it's only focused on a small bit of it. It just kinda... makes the first flower look slightly blob-ish.
The second and third one are a bit too busy, there's so much in them I'm having difficulty actually figuring out what it's supposed to be. I wouldn't konw if you hadn't named it in the link.
And I wouldn't edit them so much next time. The white has been changed so much you can't actually make out that they're petals.
You're on the right track though, nature photography can be tricky when it comes to a cluttered photograph. Keep on truckin Very Happy

FANTASMA: I would have liked to see the whole building in the first one. There's a bit cut off. I like it though.

I'm no pro or anything, that's just what I think.
