Well I'm going to the Melbourne one, and I'll be there quite early. I wont write on myself, but I'll probably have an INO wristband - s'long as I can find a shop that sells plain wristbands before Dec. I'll be happy to talk to anyone who wants to come say hi.

I would meet up with you...I don't know anyone who's going...

Bob broke his wrist a little while ago. And you're most welcome to meet up with me. First time I went to MCR [this year, anyway] I lined up alone - now all but one of the people I'm going with are line-friends lol.

I'm looking forward to going away again rather than the concert. Meh, I'm not looking forward to the crowd, either. A bunch of 12 year olds in black jeans and converse with more fringe than face? No thnx.

I'm going to wear the least "scene" thing I can find. I wore a retro floral dress to Taste of Chaos. ;D

i find it funny how everyone's trying to 'rebel' against a certain crowd. cuz the 'scene' look is trying to be different from every other crowd, & all the other crowds who wear colourful things are trying to be different from the scene crowd.

i have no problem with 'more fringe than face', gravity defying hair, black chucks, jeans & black everything else...i've had enough of colourful, vintage, hippy things & long untamed hair in the last 19years. Actually, I am quite an admirer of DIY clothing...in all its rawness. Mr. Green

sometimes i find myself spectating the crowd also lol...black red and white somehow stimulates me...maybe it's another faze of mine...maybe it's not?

one of the things i love most about concerts is seeing what people are wearing. i especially love the people who go totally over the top with make-up, hair, piercings, black clothes etc. i think they look awesome. i just wanna draw them lol.

^ exactly! when i was a TOC, it was such a refreshing scene to be in compared to the thongs & t-shirt sorta thing at uni. If it wasn't rude to stare, I'd sit there and look at people lol...Yes, how fun would it be to draw the crowd & include every single detail of what everyone's wearing...you're giving me ideas here...i love illustration Smile

another reason why i can't wait till Nov 30th.

how awesome were the people at TOC? i wished i had lined up earlier so i could've seen more people but me and my friends only got there like 10 mins before the doors opened so i didnt get to see much.

but i love drawing people like that. their just so fun especially adding all the detail like chains, piercings, shirts with band names, crazy coloured hair. its my favourite thing to draw.

I'm totally going to wear thongs XD
Only not really.
Admittedly, I have worn thongs to Homebake & BDO though hahaha.
But no, I will wear appropriate footwear this time, seeing as I nearly lost a shoe at TOC (I would have been devestated if that happened, I only bought those shoes the weekend before lol)

I'm actually looking forward to MCR slightly more now,
Lol I was just talking to my friend & she was saying how we'll be able to play 'follow the emo', and try to guess which gender they are.
Lmfao. I love her XD

^ i'd love to see those drawings! do you render them or do them on computer or sketches? I get so bored someties with fashion drawings I have to do for uni. The only sorts of those crowds i've been in were mcr in jan & TOC- yep at TOC i was sitting up the top & i couldn't get my eyes off this hawk in the moshpit- the guy was a maniac...& you get these random punks ocassionally, like this guy i saw with a DIY leather jacket with Misfits on the back...but yeh i'm lining up at 9am for mcr to see everything from beginning to end. I get so bored walking on suburban streets it's kinda like....hey, why can't people wear crazy things?

you better make it to mcr earlier than TOC!

^^ ahahaha asha...follow the emo. You're so mean! ROFL. That's the other thing too- androgyny rules. Although I'd never pass for a guy not even from the back with short hair.

It was Maddy who came up with that, not me lmfao.
Seriously though, when going to concerts and you don't know the exact way to get there, follow the emo.
It's gotten my friends and I to sooooo many concerts, when we really had no idea where on earth we were going lol.
100% success rate!!
