I thought the line in Mama was:
"[But the shit that I've done] with this fuck of a gun..."
I can swear it said that in the book. |

I hate to say this, but a lot of My Chem lyrics on INO are wrong.
I'm filled with the urge to fix it myself, but unfortunately I can't. -_-
Edit: GRARR, MORE MISTAKES.

I also could be wrong but I've been wondering why the songs were arranged this way though. Nonetheless, The Sharpest Lives and Mama are really great songs <3 |

Age: 31 Gender: Male Posts: 14574 | October 27th, 2006 at 11:06pm Well, you have to remember, Three Cheers was a bit of a concept album, and the story line for that was all over the place. It didn't just run along a time line from first song to last.
I'm not surprised The Black Parade is similar. xD
Edit: I don't think the album would be completely backwards either. The End does indeed seem like an introduction to the story. |

Yeah, The Sharpest Lives kinda confused me.
My Guess:
When i read the chorus, im thinking he (the patient) is begging for death. Give me a shot to remember << Basically he is sick of being ill, he just wants to go.
... but the rest of the lyrics dont fit.
-kinda confused-

Age: 31 Gender: Male Posts: 14574 | October 29th, 2006 at 12:26pm The Sharpest Lives is more about being shit-faced all the time and the person's whole life is a blur because of it. My guess is it isn't necessarily from The Patient's point of view, but someone he meets, or already knows. |
Bacon Egg and AMY!! Killjoy
Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 97 | October 29th, 2006 at 01:48pm I just finished writing my interpretation of the whole album, but part of me doesn't want to post is 'cause it's loooooooong. Aboot two and a half pages on MS Word. If anyone wants to read it, or if I'm allowed to post something THAT long here on the board, just tell me.
But yeah, the only song I couldn't fit in was Teenagers. Unless Blood is supposed to continue the story, but I just doubted that. Sleep was pretty hard to get in there, but I think everything fit in really well.
EDIT: Right, so I put my interpretation over on my Journal on GSB, so I'll send a link to it, because it is REALLY long.
