1.Always check for duplicates before making a new thread.
2. If you're searching for a specific photo request it here.
If you have a link to a video, MP3, ... post it here.
And if you found an MCR interview, post it here.
3. When quoting, change the [img][/img] tags to [url][/url], it's annoying to keep scrolling and seeing the same thing and it takes up a bit more bandwidth then is needed. Also, "quote pyramids" make browsing difficult and tedious. Do not quote more than one or two people at a time.
4. Do not chat in the media forum.
You can chat in the What Are You Thinking threads in The INO
Chamber and The Story Board.
Picture posting rules.
1. Pictures can not carry Adult Content, Swearing, Baiting, Trolling or Flaming in them.
2. Max picture size is 400X400, any larger must be posted through URL.
3.Please limit 5 pictures or/and 6 URLs to each post. When asked for a title for your clickable URL please put something like 'cutie pie' instead of putting the web address again as it stretches out the screen.
4. Note that 'hotlinking' is not allowed. This is when you post an image directly from a site that you do not own. Please upload it onto your own site or use the URL link.
Also, when making a new picture thread, please add these rules, just so other posters keep them in mind. |

miss/mr moderator, i have a question. why limit to 3 pictures and 6 urls in each post? isnt it like, too few?
and why hotlinking is not allowed? it's a little lengthy for some people to save the pics on their photobuckets before posting it here. im sorry, i am not familiar with any legal issue, so please explain if its related to any internet privacy/policy or anything. thank you for your time. have a great day. |

Yes, but it's nine altogether, isn't that enough?
You should only include an inline images from web space that you own, or with the permission from the web master on which the image is located to avoid what results in costly bandwidth theft to the originating site owner. |

| October 30th, 2006 at 07:34pm In my personal opinion, 3 pictures are not enough. i think most of us love to see the picture loads on the discussion thread rather than having to click the urls and open it in another tabs or windows. so, if you can, will u make it like,5 pics and 4 URLs? i think 5 will be the maximum amount of pics loaded on a post before i started to scream "That's enough pics from you already!"
anyway, thank u for clearing up on the hotlinking stuff. |

and sorry i didn't mean to be annoying with these questions.
i was just wondering.
and i didn't say those rules aren't good, but maybe they could be a bit "easier". |
