Tracy's dance in the music video really made me happy because i do ballet, and it was just nice to see it mixed in with such a meaningful song.
that's probably why i love this music video. hehe.

The song is amazing, and the video is a perfect match to it. The first time I heard it was when I saw the video by chance in my college's student lounge. To be honest, I hardly noticed the song itself, the video was so spectacular. I was just dumbfounded by it.

The Helena video is probably one of the most visually pleasing videos I've ever seen. There's so much about it that is absolutely beautiful, and I can just watch it over and over again and not get tired of it. The video itself is so beautiful, so meaningful, and just so magnificent. Everyone looks amazing (I personally don't think Gerard will ever look better than he did in this video), and the performances are all so genuine.

I can't imagine a more well-excecuted video. I really can't. I cried the first time I saw it, it was so genuine to me. My Chem's videos have always been beautiful and epic. They're the only band who's videos make me weep.

Okay, this is just something funny:

[Which has Helena on it, that's the reason I bought it]
So my sister and I were singing the song Helena and I asked her

"I don't know what this song means." but I actually did, I wanted to see my sister fail at guessing, and she's 11 years old.

Anyways, she answered:

"Its to do with that pale-guy-singing-that-I-forget-the-name-of's girlfriend that died in a car crash, because it says "Can we pretend to leave again and meet again when both our cars collide" Which means Helena died in a car crash and pale-guy-singing-that-Iforget-the-name-of wants to be the one who crashes into her so he dies also. I saw it on a show and the pale-person-that-is-a-ballerina looks exactly like Helena."
Then I just said "Oh." and didn't tell her it's wrong.

By the way, I know those aren't the right lyrics, it's what my sister thought.

That was a good explaination, but it wasn't right. I was lmao in my head.

I did a dance to it in a dance lesson at school a few weeks back.
It must have been good because it made my teacher cry, and some of the students too. I danced kinda like Tracey did in the video. I think I made another 20-30 MCR fans that day because everyone said to me how awesome the song is.
I can't listen to it without it affecting me emotionally in some way.
It's one of the deepest songs ever. I love it so much.
Sometimes you feel kinda bad listening because it's just so honest.

Helena is a very meaningful song about losing a loved one.
It's about Gee's and Mikey's grandma.

It's a pretty sentimental song! When I first found out it was about his grandma, I got so friggin' choked up listening to it again...

I think it's really sweet that they wrote a song about her. Coz they were really close to her.

Even though it's supposed to be about the grandmother that Gerard Way loved, it seems like he saying that the one that he's talking about did negative things in her life, but he still loves her.

this song was writen by gerard for his grandmother who basically taught him everything he knows about music.
i think the song comes off as a song about someone who has either commited suicide or someone who gerard loves very much has left him and he would like to pretend that nothing has ever happened between them because it hurts to think about them.

awww i love this song it was a tribute to mikey and gerards grandma when she passed away i think its sweet that they wrote her a song everyone say awww lol

i think this song is really intense and meaningful because Gerard and Mikey wrote the song in the midst of grieving over there beloved grandmothers death. the emotion Gerard and Mikey put into the song really makes it powerful and unique
