It could be a prayer for someone, most possible Elena, as said above. But then, a lot of people haven't made heads or tails of the song, since Gerard's singing in this one is pretty creepy, and the lyrics are hard to hear. The song could be interpretated into many meanings... like Famous Last Words. |

I agree that it might be a prayer for his grandmother Elena. Its pretty hard to hear what he's saying. Its like hes saying it to himself and doesnt want anyone else to hear. The guitar is pretty loud over the words. |

but i can kinda hear the since we talk alone.. they both fit.
but i think that saints protect her now fits better
like some one he loved had died, and hes aksing for her to be protected
by angels, and angels of the unknown (satans angels)

Its an INTERLUDE, remember? The girl has died, and hes praying for her protection..it all fits in with Gerards Catholic upbringing, if ya think about it.
