at the end they realize that they loved each other and they cant wait until they can get out of that place. |

"Every hour, on the hour, they drew blood"-the drug tests they do. the running away could be getting away from the addictions in order to get out of the hospital and go back to his "normal" life |

Gerard hates hates hates needles, so i would understand why he would talk about running away...
and i agree, it sounds like rehab! |
grr...weee!!! Killjoy
Age: 33 Gender: Female Posts: 49 | i came up with a really random idea about this song:
this guy was killed by all these satanic surgeons and they kill them and use their blood for worship! but first they keep them in hospital like buildings and the song is pretty much describing the guy meeting this girl and plotting to escape!!

Solitary Style. Thinking Happy Thoughts
Age: 39 Gender: Female Posts: 574 | Well, the "drawing blood" thing certainly does point toward rehab. But would they have breathing machines and emergency rooms in rehab? I think it's a genuine hospital, personally. I kind of like the "guy fell in love with a coma patient" idea--it's twisted enough to be MCR's handiwork.
I love how the song is stressful and impatient at the beginning. I always hear that tune when I'm stressed. Then it gets more optimistic--maybe something good happened. Possibly the coma patient woke up?
And yeah--"Cubicles" is the least fave |
