'On Directing' is fucking brilliant, yes.
And 'The Ocean' is fantastic.
When i first heard 'Hell' i was like, "...tegan, what are you doing...?"
but it has grown.
I listen to that song mainly to hear her do the, "four ways to remove all the bad that we do etc etc."
My favourites of Tegan would have to be 'Someday', 'The Cure' and 'Northshore'
And my favourites of Sara would be 'Sentimental Tune' and 'On Directing'
When sara sings "I've got grounds for divorce. It's in my blood, this divorce" in Night Watch, my heart is like, 'ouch.'
And i cannot listen through Someday without laughing because i can just picture that video of Chris yelling "REACH OUT!" at the wrong time. and Sara's little booty dance.
Fantasic album though.
I was really excited about hearing Sara's material, but i must say that i am liking Tegan's stuff more.
i'm in fucking love with Sainthood.
my favorites are probably the ocean and sentimental tune.
oh! and on directing. the whole album is just brilliant.
there isn't one song i dislike. my least favorite is paperback head though.
I've finally gotten one of my best friends very into them, it makes me happy.
She didn't believe me when I told her that they were twins though, which kind of made me a little confused.
Then I realized she hadn't seen them before. xD
Lol, I didn't know they were even sisters until I was told. I just thought I couldn't tell them apart for some weird reason, really. It's strange.
I got into them because everyone else who has heard of them is into them and I couldn't avoid the fandom, so I just joined. My girlfriend got an extra copy of Sainthood by accident (it came with On/In/At and she didn't know), so she gave it to me. They're fantastic.
"We were conceived in the same womb and we look the same and we have formed this band together - we have this intrinsic connection.
And i will unconditionally love her, and hate her, till the end of time." Sara Quin.
My favourite girls in the world <333333333
Look at T's little runnn!
These two are amazing, people need to know more about them.
Spinner did a huge thing with them when Sainthood came out and they did a few performances, which are amazing.
Hell sounds great <33
Ill post them so people can see how amazing they are!
