Age: 36 Gender: Female Posts: 1056 | February 22nd, 2007 at 09:35pm Can anyone help me with a quick question?
I was wondering what is the best way to crop something out of a picture and paste it into another one? I mean, I know there is the 'crop' tool, but what If I wanted to take, gerard for instance, and put him into a photo of the desert. what would be the best way to get him to look like he is there, without having to cut and past and then erase the privious background.
Does anyone get what I'm saing? |

Does anyone get what I'm saing? Select it, copy, paste onto new background. Tedious, but oh well.
^damn, that's nice. looks a little choppy in quality, but the thing itself, like the lips, that's impressive. At least to me, but I can't do vectors really. But it looks good. |

.
No I know THAT, biut how do I erase the background around the image without going in and taking the time to get all the back gournd out.
like this:
Say I want to replace aladdin in picture 1:
with gerard in picture 2:
now, croping, copying and pasting, make it look like this:
Now, my question was this: what is the best way to get the background off of picture 2(gee) so it looks like he is in picure 1 (me and aladdin)? The only way I know of is to take the eraser and get all the old background?
see? |

Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 4542 | February 22nd, 2007 at 11:01pm ...You could always use a lasso tool and carefully select Gerard out of his picture. Tedious, but that's what I know. |

Select Gerard out of the picture, not the entire thing. |
