I had a program ages ago called Photoline, and it allowed you to make a shape and hook onto that shape with text, and, like, follow the path.
Sorry for the vague description, I haven't used that program in a few years.
I'd love to be able to do that^ with Gimp.
I'm 99.9% sure you can't do that on Gimp.
On photoshop you can do it numerous ways, the most popular being the use of the pen tool.
I'mnot sure if that helps you at all though. |

I've used it on CS3 before and you can control it yourself but on CS2 it just wands the whole area I click. Is there anyway that I can make it manual select? |

Age: 33 Gender: Female Posts: 825 | October 5th, 2007 at 10:08pm ^ there is a thing at the top of the picture that sayd Dialogs, click that then go down to Brushes. Once you click that the Brush dialog box will pop up and then you just choose which brush you want to use. |

You just paste it as a layer, and put it on a different layer setting, depending on what the texture is.
Overlay, screen, multiply, whateverrrr. It's kind of arbitrary, really depends on your style and the texture you're using. |

Take the image that you want to turn into a brush, turn it black and white if it isn't already, go to edit>define brush preset. That's it.
If that's what you're asking. |
