Okay, so I know she wasn't a hugely famous Aussie celebrity.
But I think she was an amazing woman.
This morning, she died. We all know that she had been fighting cancer, and had been sick, for a while now.
Perhaps it doesn't deserve its own thread, but at least for a little bit, I think we should acknowledge her. |

I think it's beautiful that no matter what, Rove stuck by her.
I think that's the truest form of love possible.
It's just devastating... I cannot imagine how upset her family, and Rove, would be.

Posts: 2370 | November 11th, 2006 at 06:22am yeah. i never really knew her that much in terms of work, but i did of course no her having seen her on award shows, with Rove, and heard about the work she did in terms of cancer awareness and how she battled on.
my heart goes out to Rove and her family.
i was really shocked when i heard this afternoon.
may she find peace and happiness and may those she left behind stay strong and move on, but forever she shall rest in their hearts.

She was so brave & strong in her battle, she truly was an inspiration to so many people because of the way she carried herself through.
It's so sad to hear of her passing =(

I remember when she was Home & Away - it doesn't really seem like it was all that long ago, but she's been battling cancer for eight years... I can't even imagine that.
My sympathies go out to Rover and her family... <3
I also heard that Rove has cancelled his show for the rest of the year, I can't imagine how he would be feeling right now.. |

I dunno, so far he's only said he's done with it for 2006.
I personally don't think it should return next year.
The year after, he'll probably do it. Ch. 10 can't wait to get their claws back into him, I bet. |
