And you do realise you wasted your money to talk to a bunch of dudes for a couple minutes, right? |

Age: 36 Gender: Female Posts: 3660 | June 24th, 2007 at 06:45pm Don't worry; I wouldn't. Nor did I need to.
Last time I checked MCR were against any rock star mentality, so I don't see how they would have approved of someone paying just to talk to them. They're human beings, not gods. |

Age: 33 Gender: Female Posts: 85 | June 25th, 2007 at 01:47am All you had to do was buy TBP CD, which was like, 12 bucks and you got a wristband for a signing. A lot of kids did it, there were signings for every band playing.
So it's not like I busted a week's worth of cash on a Meet & Greet, haha. |

Seeing as you said, "I paid for a Meet & Greet", I was mislead into thinking you had paid to just meet them. |

Age: 40 Gender: Female Posts: 438 | June 26th, 2007 at 01:24pm I did it, too. I bought the CD and it came as a perk, but techinically, she did pay for a meet and greet. I think they like meeting fans. It doesn't have anything to do with having a rockstar mentality. It's hospitality. |

Age: 36 Gender: Female Posts: 3660 | June 26th, 2007 at 10:39pm If you pay money to get nothing except a meet and greet pass, that is bullshit and has everything to do with having a rock star mentality.
Who are they that we should pay to be in their presence? But since she technically paid for the cd, that's alright.
My point is clearly being missed here, I'm not going to bother anymore. It's good you bought a cd and got to meet the band for free. |

Age: 33 Gender: Female Posts: 85 | June 27th, 2007 at 03:23pm Well, I don't think they can just change the whole event because they don't want kids to pay for a Meet & Greet. If they're like, "Well, no, they shouldn't have to pay to meet us, you should let any kid get in line!" And the venue said they couldn't do that, MCR could either cancel their signing, which would come off more rockstarish, or they could just do it and make kids happy.
But yeah, I got a CD out of it, so it's all grand |
