Cutting yourself doesn't make you emo, it just makes you a sad pathetic person who cuts and tells for attention. Well, here's your attention, a flame from hell.
Real emo's don't cut, stop trying so hard. Cutting yourself doesn't solve anything, the problem is still there after you're done cutting. Quit waking up every day thinking that the day is going to be depressing because reguardless of what good happens, with that thinking, it's going to be a depressing day because you refuse to look at the brighter side of life. There are people out there with a worse life than you who can make it without cutting, quit being so selfish. Pain doesn't take anything away, it just causes more pain and scars that will be on your body forever, a constant reminder of your stupidity.

P.S. - As for the question, I like both and wouldn't be able to pick between the 2.
I'm not saying that you're wrong, b/c in some cases you're right.
but there are other cases. but AMEN to yours, I'm tired of ppl cutting for attention.
some ppl cut to RELEASE energy. to see that there's pain worse than what they live through. and to see that they're alive.
ppl that cut and tell, are full of BULLSHIT, and they just want attention and everyone else to be as miserable as they are. and I used to be one of them and I'm extremely ashamed of it, knowing that I did it all for attention. and never got the attention that I really wanted. |

and for the whole "cutting yourself" topic that's going on... this is from my profile. Please consider taking this seriously if you cut.
There is NO reason for self-harming.
It doesn't matter how "horrible" your life is, or how you're always "depressed", or that "you deserve it."
Your life ISN'T horrible.
You can get help if you're depressed.
YOU DON'T DESERVE IT.
No one deserves it.
There are better ways to get your emotions out.
Like art?
Paint a picture that expresses your feelings.
Like music?
Write a song or listen to one that expresses your feelings.
Like writing?
Write a story or poem about your feelings.
Like talking?
Talk to someone about it. Someone you can trust.
So next time you're holding that blade to your wrist, please consider those things. No one deserves to feel pain caused by themself.
And I know how it feels; I used to cut.
I know how it feels to have to hide the scars from your teachers, and your parents, your family, your friends, the people in your school.
I know how it feels to think that you deserve it.
I know how it feels to want to have someone trying to stop you from doing it.
I know what it feels like to be standing over a sink with blood pouring down your burning wrist, hoping that you don't die. Realizing that it's not worth it.
But you do it for attention. Think about it. You wouldn't be cutting if you didn't want someone to stop you, now would you?
So stop thinking that harming yourself is actually going to make people feel sorry for you.
Some may give in to the cry for attention, but there are others, like myself, who very little or no pity for you.
Yes, I admit, I used to do it.
I've gotten over it. I've realized everything I just told you, and I'd like you to realize that too. |
