KimmayMCR25 Killjoy Age: 41 Gender: Female Posts: 7 | I have been MCR obsession mode since I left the coliseum. Gee was amazing and looking mighty good. Only thing is I though I was gonna get pushed to the floor and die( had a near death in 99 at a Blink182 concert) . I could not believe how damn close I was. Here are the 2 links to my youtub vids I took one is of I dont love you and the other is of Happy Birthday for HANDSOM Don ~ I also felt like I was the oldest fan there :X. Anyway that was the best best best concert I have ever seen and I think I might cough up that money and see them again at Bamboozled in May. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_aOWvGHIH7k http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vb_Qc_99D28 |

squishyXcore Fabulous Killjoy Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 100 | I waited 2 years to see them live, Uniondale was my first time and it was the most amazing day of my whole life. It was so completely perfect. I cried during four songs and I never thought that a band could do that to me. I love how they pulled out the whole Revenge backround during the second half. I was afraid they were only gonna play songs off the Black Parade and none from Three Cheers, so I was so excited when they did the second half. Hearing Ghost of You live made me so emotional. It was so freaking great. I don't think anything will ever beat how amazingly perfect that day was for me!! =]=]=]=] |
NOpoetAcriminal Motor Baby Age: 36 Gender: Female Posts: 762 | it was by far the greatest day ever. they just added 2 more dates and one of them is really close to where i go to school, so i'm gonna try to convince my friends to go. it would make my life to see them again. plus, it'll be warmer so i'll be able to stand outside and not die of hypothermia. the only thing i could have asked of mcr to do was play stuff off bullets, but i wasn't overly disappointed that they didn't b/c the rest of the show was absolutely phenomenal! |
squishyXcore Fabulous Killjoy Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 100 | NOpoetAcriminal:I was hoping they'd play Vampires or Our Lady of Sorrows, but even though they didnt do anything off of Bullets, it still was amazing. It was SOOO cold. I died. Except not really....lol.... What are the two new dates they added? |
NOpoetAcriminal Motor Baby Age: 36 Gender: Female Posts: 762 | may 3 in albany, ny may 4 in reading, pa i think i might be able to go to either... i just need to find a friend to go... who has a car..... damn lack of transportation yea, i was really hoping they would play vampires or our lady of sorrows too... or even headfirst for halos. it was funny to watch ppl run across the parking lot back to their cars b/c they were so cold. i felt bad for them lol... |
squishyXcore Fabulous Killjoy Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 100 | NOpoetAcriminal:Man, I wish those were closer to me. They'r e like 3 hours away from where I live=[ Oh well, i'll still *hopefully* get to see them at Bamboozle... I have great respect for the people who came early to wait outside for that concert....especially the many girls who were dressed in skirts and legging *blech* I should have checked the weather before leaving. Ahh, it was just an amazing concert. For sure. *faints, dies, twitches* |
NOpoetAcriminal Motor Baby Age: 36 Gender: Female Posts: 762 | oh man, those girls looked cold. i was like... dude, jeans are AWESOME! i really want to go see them at bamboozle too, and i like some of the other ppl playing ... i wouldn't mind going both days of bamboozle either... i kind of like linkin park (they have a similar message of mcr, like, I WILL OVERCOME YOU, HATERS! but more rap/hiphopish which is strange for me to like lol... wow, rambling spam). but yea. i want to see mcr again on this tour. it was such a positive life changing experience. plus, they're my favorite band, why would i not see them again?! lol |
squishyXcore Fabulous Killjoy Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 100 | Seriously. That concert changed me. No doubt. I would give anything to see them again (well maybe not ANYTHING, but you get the idea) They are just amazing . I want to go to Bamboozle both days too. Linkin Park are just amazing with their awesome angst and whatnot...lawl... and some of the other bands on the second day are pretty good too, but the two day passes are sold out and to buy tickets for both days would be too much for me. So if I had to choose, the first day would probably be better. Hopefully I can get some monies between now and then to afford both days though. Plus im going to Famliy Values tour this year, so im basically blowing all my birthday cash on concerts. But it's totally woth it! =] |
NOpoetAcriminal Motor Baby Age: 36 Gender: Female Posts: 762 | lol yea, i can see that. i'm totally broke from goin to concerts all the time. i went to go see mcr in syracuse in september (which would have brought the 23rd concert up to the third time i've seen them live) but bob got all burnt so i saw only tbs rather than the package deal (i like tbs too, i've seen them twice). i never have any money cuz i spend it all on music and concert tickets. and i work 3 or 4 different jobs. ::rolls eyes:: i need to get a well paying job... actually, i need to work as a sound or lighting tech for mcr. THAT would be amazing. |
squishyXcore Fabulous Killjoy Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 100 | Oh my goodness. Dream job for sure! If that was my job, I would officially be the happiest person on the planet. I just need a job in general...any job as long as it pays. But of course i'm too young*dramatic sigh* >.< Aww man. That stinks about the Syracuse show. Bob and his life threatening burns>.>. We still love him though =] But at least you still saw Taking Back Sunday, they're pretty awesome. Not as great as MCR in my opinion, but they're a pretty good substitute. |
NOpoetAcriminal Motor Baby Age: 36 Gender: Female Posts: 762 | haha yea. and i don't blame bob.. .i blame sam bayer lol. you should try making money by doing little stuff... like um... making stuff to sell to ppl in school. yea. i'm helpful, can't you tell lol. i need another job. *sigh* i'm so broke. maybe i just need to learn how to save. gah. |
squishyXcore Fabulous Killjoy Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 100 | Lol. I could totally sell doo-rags. My school is full of hArDXcOrE GaNgStaS yO! >.> Lol I'd get jumped. |
Franniestein Salute You in Your Grave Age: 34 Gender: Female Posts: 2130 | NOpoetAcriminal: hahahaha I was one of those people running to my car. Luckily I got there and only had to wait out side for about 15 minutes but with the shirt I was wearing you would think I'm an idiot for leaving my hoodie in the car. |

AllOfTheseVampires Killjoy Age: 34 Gender: Female Posts: 82 | yess it says albany: but its the Glens Falls Civic center, which is in Glens Falls, about an hour away from Albany. also before you guys talking about girls in skirts: that was me my sis and friend. i had jeans (thank god) but my sister had shorts and leggings and my friend had a skirt. 45 minutes. we died. totally worth it though <3 so yess. glens falls and albany are not the same place so the 2 hour drive i was expected has turned to 3... |
DeCiMaTeD_DrEaMs Bleeding on the Floor Age: 35 Gender: Female Posts: 1092 | rockonbaby: well, i signed up for the newsletter on their official page too, thats where i get the emails from ..but they aslo post everything on their myspace. |
NOpoetAcriminal Motor Baby Age: 36 Gender: Female Posts: 762 | glen falls is an hour in which direction? (please say west, you'll make my life)... i'm a member of the mcrmy, so that's where i get most of my emails... and about the whole skirt thing. we're not saying it's bad. we're saying it's cold. VERY VERY COLD. ::shivers thinking about it:: i almost wore a skirt, but was like... um. no way will i freeze my ass off. |
