In headfirst for halos.."I think i'll blow my brains against the ceiling"
In The Sharpest Lives.."So why dont you blow me a kiss before she goes"
In I Don't Love You.."Another dollar's just another blow.."

That's probably like 3 different meanings of the word but i just noticed that..

in To The End he sings '(say goodbye) to the last parade' and the new album is about the Black Parade.

i remember talking about that connection back when we had been given clues about the third album and everyone was freaking out about what the black parade was. x].

Our Lady of Sorrows: We could be perfect one last night. And die like star-crossed lovers when we fight.

The Sharpest Lives: Juliet loves the beat and the lust it commands. Drop the dagger and lather the blood on your hands, Romeo.

Star-crossed lovers is from the introductiont to Romeo & Juliet (I studied it last year in English) which goes something like this:

Two households, both alike in dignity,
In fair Verona, where we lay our scene,
From ancient grudge break to new mutiny,
Where civil blood makes civil hands unclean.
From forth the fatal loins of these two foes
A pair of star-cross'd lovers take their life;
Whose misadventured piteous overthrows
Do with their death bury their parents' strife.
The fearful passage of their death-mark'd love,
And the continuance of their parents' rage,
Which, but their children's end, nought could remove,
Is now the two hours' traffic of our stage;
The which if you with patient ears attend,
What here shall miss, our toil shall strive to mend.

In Monroeville they say "just like my favorite scene, they're holding hands and life was perfect, just like up on the screen" and in disenchanted they say "I hate the ending myself, but it started with an alright scene"

I think they're just using the same metaphors because they have to do with themes they like to write songs about (death, love etc.) They could also be doing throwbacks to earlier songs for fun so the fans will be like "I remember that!"

I noticed that in "To the end" the lyrics mention :
"(And say goodbye) to the last parade"
and then their next album was centered around the black parade
sorry - its a bit of a loose connection - but i keep noticing it, and then i realized there was a thread for it Smile
oh and sorry if someone already mentioned that.
