I wouldnt call what i do cutting, but i get blood, so yeah. but i mean its nothing serious. But i find once you start, it only takes small things to get you to cut. or attempt to. i only do my very upper arm cos i wanna wear short sleeved shirts. Its all very well people telling you to tell your family so they help you, but i mean, i started cos of them, i'm not about to tell them. So yeah, I see why MCR can help. |

I use music to help me distract myself from the urge and to delay or stop it all together. It does work sometimes, but not all the time. I would be worse off it weren't for music right now.
I gave up caring if people see my scars. |

ooo you had some dreams about MCR?! do tell! I love hearing about dreams.
I've only had 2 MCR related dreams. One had Ray running down the school hallway in women's underwear and another just had the fuzzy, never-ending, organ-y transition from Ghost of You to Jetset Life Is Gonna Kill You. |

^fucking awesome!
okay one i had them come over to my house and they were in my room. Soon i caught Mikey and Alicia making out on the floor cornered between my bed and the wall. and i SERIOUSLY got on top of them and said right to their faces, "Ohh, Orgy"
then out of nowhere they decided to redecorate my room. wow. then i had a headshot picture of Gerard and me ie like Mikey and Pete.
then i had another where i just hung out with them. like in the streets, stores, as if we were friends! (i effin' wish!) Then i had one about being in the band's recording room and the guys went to record and then Gerard was alone so i sat on his lap! and then i gave him a kiss on the cheek! wow. then i had one where i witnessed a crazed <vampire of Gerard, with blood all over his face and in his fangs attacking a blonde haired girl in the sewers! that one was horrible! except if it was a teenine! J/K! |

Age: 33 Gender: Female Posts: 72 | March 26th, 2006 at 09:25pm Ok, first of all,MCR~My_Anti/Is_My_Drug, that sounded like the most kick ass dream ever! Second of all, MCR has trully helped me alot. Like, I have alot of problems with my dad. He's been in and out of my life since I was 6. I used to cut, but I stopped a couple of weeks ago. Their music makes me feel like I'm alive, and during this shitty period of depression I had, there were there for me. When I first found out that Gerard was clean and sober (which was about a year or so) I was amazed. I have family members who are way messed up due to drugs, and then when I heard Gerard's story, and how the band helped him through it, I almost cried. It's like this amazing story of triumph. It reminds me of this kick ass quote I once read. 'When it gets dark enough, you can see the stars' |
