gerardsdemoluver15: Ok, first of all,MCR~My_Anti/Is_My_Drug, that sounded like the most kick ass dream ever! Second of all, MCR has trully helped me alot. Like, I have alot of problems with my dad. He's been in and out of my life since I was 6. I used to cut, but I stopped a couple of weeks ago. Their music makes me feel like I'm alive, and during this shitty period of depression I had, there were there for me. When I first found out that Gerard was clean and sober (which was about a year or so) I was amazed. I have family members who are way messed up due to drugs, and then when I heard Gerard's story, and how the band helped him through it, I almost cried. It's like this amazing story of triumph. It reminds me of this kick ass quote I once read. 'When it gets dark enough, you can see the stars'
First of all congrats on stopping!!! You are a lucky SOB on that one...
I'm the same way kind of... Gerard's been a bit of an inspiration to me...and yet, I hate him so bad for it. B/C I'm jealous that he ... seemed to have an easier time to gettin better than I am. And than his comments about suicide and stuff just get me down and feeling rather worthless. But yet, they're one of the first bands I turn to when I'm that way. |

So much Gerard spit on my shirt at a concert and i didnt wash my MCR shirt for days then it got stinky so I hugged it and put it in the wash so yeah I LOVE THEM! |

Go to a concert, be up close...Frank spits out water and his own spit all the time...(I speak from experience, but as I was continuously hit with water from the secuirty, my shirt was washed of any thing Frank got on me, by the time I got out of there) |

Posts: 63 | August 16th, 2006 at 07:15pm i'd always listen to music while i'd intentionally hurt myself, wether if it was burning my fingers with matches, cutting, and i also used to poke needles into my leg. i have no idea what i was thinking and now that i know how foolish i was, i regret even letting the idea of doing that pop into my mind.
anyways.. i'd always listen to music while i'd do it.
i owned revenge but rarely listened it.
my life had kind of been spiraling down. i had no friends and my family and i were constantly fighting. i was so sad and upset with everyone but i never said a word. i was literally depressed but i couldn't do anything about it. nothing was going the way i wanted it to and it seemed like my life was really getting out of hand.
i turned to cutting but that didn't seem to be enough. i was becoming suicidal and i wanted to "take action" and do something to end all my pain. i was planning to kill myself.
i randomly picked a cd, it happed to be their's.
i really listene to the music and the lyrics. for the first time i actually kept my mouth shut and just listened.
and that was the end of it.
i never once thought about cutting again.
okay shit. that was kinda long.
but anyways, my point is they really saved my life.
and i love them. more then anything or anyone.
i don't think i'll ever love someone as much as i'll love them.
probably not even my husband.
they have me for unconditional love at it's highest.
i owe them everything. |

Know how you feel... Im so in love with the whole band myself..Its really bad, In some ways :C
But they saved me. I`d give my life for them..
I hope they never ever stop making music..
if anything bad happend to them, i`d get so depressed.. May even kill myself.. its seriously THAT bad.. :C |
