I think that they had grown up (or what is say) and they are not the same depressive boys and now they are more happy with the live no? |

You Mother Franker. Jazz Hands
Age: 32 Gender: Female Posts: 305 | August 14th, 2007 at 07:47pm Um, i Cant really say i see a HUGE difference or anything, i mean they tryed a new producer and had some new sound, but this band still does the same thing for me....help me through the hardest parts in life. Maybe they grew up alittle, but My Chemical Romance, will always be My Chemical Romance..to me. |
TRAGICAFFAIR?. Joining The Black Parade
Age: 32 Gender: Female Posts: 206 | August 15th, 2007 at 12:42am I can't choose. They both have such different and special qualities...and together they make mcr, so its impossible for me to choose. |

I suppose Revenge (era) is my favorite...
But still, it doesn't matter. They are them. That's good enough. |

Age: - Gender: - Posts: 13229 | August 15th, 2007 at 06:09am I like them all for different reasons. People change. The man is 30, he's not going to act the way he did when he was 25, sorry. If bands don't change, they get boring. I don't want a Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, pt. II. I want something new each time. |

alot of people think that just b/c they've heard their newer shit that they can claim their the biggest MCR fans.Bullshit!! I bet a quater of the ppl that like MCR have never heard their older stuff or have just listened to it now. That really pisses me off. |

Age: 35 Gender: Female Posts: 13231 | August 15th, 2007 at 05:23pm The old MCR, definitely. I love "The Black Parade", I really do, but it just doesn't mean as much to me as their older stuff.
I realise that no band can stay the same forever and change is healthy, but the boys are different now. They're more distant, and a little detached from the fanbase. Maybe that's to be expected with the way TBP has blown them up, and I'm not suggesting they invite us all backstage for tea or anything, but I don't sense the same camaraderie with them that I used.
I miss the feeling that it's us and them against the world, cos while I still love them to death they don't feel like "my" band anymore. They continue to be and always will be my favourite band, and my heroes, but I want our MCR back.
Not the one the whole world and their grandmother can recognise, and not the one that deliberately dodges fans outside the shows. |

But, tbh. I think The Revenge Era was the best though.
I've said it before. But I did love that era. |

But I think I'd have to go with the oldies, man. Like quite a few other people said, it seemed like they were having more fun making the music. The Black Parade is like the second song on it, DEAD! |
