cindyl541:Believe it or not, I saw Grand Funk at the Forum in Ingelwood, CA. I was 14 and my big brother had to take me. He got all drugged out and stupid so we had to sit in the parking lot for a long time afterwards. That was 36 years ago!!!! Next one I saw was Elvis in 72. It was at the Long Beach Arena.
Oh my Gerard. You. Officially. Rule.

I went to copenhagen in denmark and saw System of a Down.
REALLY cool and they're great live but there were like 20,000 people and it was crazy! I almost passed out hihi

Yes! That's one of my dad's favorite songs! He's always saying that My Chem should do a cover of it. Lol. My dad's OBSESSED with BOC and is even good friends with the guitarist, Buck Dharma. He has his cell phone number and has been to his house a couple times.
wow fancy that, i hadn't heard of them until my dad heard the song in an advert or something, and said i should listen to that one song..i think it would be interesting to hear mcr cover it, it's very different to their normal stuff. |

They are my dads favourite band. He's seen them over 100 times and has travelled across Europe and to the USA to see them.
He took me to one of there gigs at Wembley Arena when I was just 3 years old. Theres a picture of me and him walking up the road to the station and I'm dressed in jeans and a little denim jacket so that I match him.
The first concert I went to without one of my parents to supervise was to see Bryan Adams. Bloody great and I'm going to see him again in May. |
