Oh jeezus.
This post just made me want to go to Memphis so bad.
Do you still live there?
I love going :3

Anyway, I was born in Oklahoma City but my parents took me home to Ada, Oklahoma for my baby life. We lived in Manchester, new Hampshire when I was a toddler but really I consider Reading, Michigan my "hometown".

I.Jenni was born in New York City, New York; more specifically Staten Island, which is the "forgotten borough" of New York City. I HATE Staten Island; but I love New York City -Also known as Manhattan.

And appropriate or not, this is part of my home town as tragic as it is...
before. During. After

Yes you can say the second picture wasn't needed, but very few can say this happened in their backyard. People from this Island, in this classrooms, could see the planes fly in. From all the way in South Beach we could hear the loud explosion of the first and second planes rattle our school. People stood in disbelief as this entire City that seemed so indrustructable was blanketed in smoke of hell. I am not taking away from the other people who died in Washington and Flight 93, but...if you ever seen the Twin Towers, which defined our skyline, you could see how gigantic they were. How they stood so beautiful and strong. When you looked up from the very bottom you couldn't even see the top they were so big. And to see those two amazing buildings come crashing down...it was like suddendly someone robbed us of our secruity...we were left naked. We still feel that way. When you pass that empty plot you can't help by look at how empty it feels- like someone took a peice of our soul.

Milford, Delaware- a semi-rural, family-oriented community of 6,732, is the largest town in Sussex County, although it sits in both Sussex and Kent counties.
Founded in 1680 on the north and south banks of the Mispillion River, Milford was incorporated in 1807.

No pictures that I took myself, but I somehow managed to find a few pix of this teeny tiny town on Google.

Mispillion River, taken from the River Walk, downtown.
Water tower, across the street from my old high school.
Riverfront Theater, home of the Second Street Players.
Parson Thorne Mansion, one of the town's historical landmarks, built in the 1730s.
The Towers Bed & Breakfast, built in the 18th Century & probably one of my favorite buildings in the entire city.

"A fine city" According to the signs.
I complain sometimes, but really, I love it.
It's near the sea but not TOO near to the sea, it's on an awesome place and a charming city.
