Hey, Im going this gig on the 24th March and its my first proper MCR gig. Okay the gig starts @ 7.30pm with Thursday as special guests. I was wondering how long you reckon the whole gig will take?? As im wondering about my options about getting home. and leaving early is Not an option. I want to stay for the whole show. but was wondering around how long it will last with both bands playing. |

Posts: 11538 | February 22nd, 2007 at 09:08pm lol...im the same at the one im going to...im gona be pretty much on my own the whole day and stranded on my own too on the night...no ones coming with me...wel...I was going with my mate..but she cant go now because its on too late and her parents wont let her =S (and because its a school night I suppose)..but shes 16 ffs...and..I kno a few other people who are going..but...they wont queue up all day with me to get a good spot because they arent as obsessed as me..its just a lil crappy gig to them..like..something to do...and...theres not enough room in their car either =( so im stuck....blah..but I will be going...even if it means ill have to sleep out rough all night...i love them <3 |

Posts: 1979 | February 24th, 2007 at 02:41am Hey guys, if you're worried about transport and concert times, just contact the MEN arena directly, these places are usually really good with stuff like this and will let you know approximately what time the concert will actually start and end.

Please make sure whatever you do, that you have somewhere to stay or a way of getting home, especially if you don't know the city. I'm going to the Birmingham gig, flying from Aberdeen and unfortuantely can't afford to book anywhere to stay and I have a 5am check-in for my flight back, so I'm just going to stay in the airport, but that's only because it's secure, I wouldn't advise it, but I'm 27 and completely obsessed with MCR I think I'm starting to lose all rational thought! |

I know theres a bus stop at the opposite end of the arena but depending on where you live and which direction your going, you'd be better off contacting the MEN, ummm i was there at the weekend and was able to get a bus easily after midnight but i was heading to Middleton. Havent a clue how long they'll play for though!!! Sorry, not much help!!! |
