its shit dont go there. the teachers expect you to sit out in the rain at lunch while theyre in their nice n warm staff room with coke, and then when you go to class wet they get mad at you for getting wet.
theres other reasons not to go there. but i cant be bothered typing.

I thought I'd hate it, and I still kinda dislike it, but it's helped me find myself.
I stand up for myself now, not like at my co-ed primary school.
I'm arrogant, and love it.
We have uniforms and shizz, but it's easy to express your individuality. |

Yeh its all girls. But is not bitchy or bad. Everyone is friends and you get so much opportunity. Last week we went diving at Ningaloo reef up north for marine biology, and my SOSE teacher is a homosexual malayan, you TRULY do get exposed to lots of different things.
There is that feeling of, you can't wear what you want and you can't have pshyco colours in your hair. But I have plenty of time to do that after school.
There are other ways of expressing yourself.
We kinda support each other and Im really excited to leave the school because I know I will be ready for whatever I do.
i know it sounds weird because mosr of the posts here have been anti girls schools, but really, its not bad.
My best friend goes to a co-ed school, like I can't survive without her. But I have met people at my school that also mean alot to me, even if they arnt into rock music or drawing, it kinda teaches you that everyone is great in their own way.
And besides, you make friends outside of school anyway. People think that all girls school girls don't know guys, I know plenty of guys, everyone networks. There is about six all guys schools and six al girls schools in my area , so really its all one big school. |

I just read the main question.
There are plenty of public or co ed schools around that are affordable.
If you are looking in Perth, then Shenton college, is a really good public school. Theres my friends school, st john 23rd (jtc). Its not overly priced.
I don't actualy know what you mean by expensive, but, if you look, there are really good public schools out there. |

Age: - Gender: - Posts: 1416 | February 26th, 2007 at 09:22am ^^ i agree with that. [actually, funnily enough, i used to go to MLC [now annesley college] here in adelaide]
anyway, both my highschools were pretty sheltered, but were still really good. and yeah, friends are friends, no matter what they're into, most of mine hate my music, and i hate theirs, but they still mean the world to me, and are there for me. my school was heaps part of my identity, when we left, none of us really knew who we were anymore [i mean, that sounds really bad, obviously i was still sez etc, but our school was SUCH a big part of us] so yeah, i'm definitely not anti-girls schools, probably more pro them, but i haven't been at a co-ed school since year 5, so i dunno! |
