What School Do You Go To?

Kaitaia College.
Stupid NZ.
We've only had Goodnight Nurse come here, and I was only in year 7 when that happened, so I wasn't there. x.x

It's the one that was in the local area, but it was shithouse so my parents whinged & my brother and I got accepted into another school.

But the only bands that played there were shitty christian bands who were like trying to brainwash us or something.

We did have Angela's Dish once though, like before they were 'popular'

You really didn't miss much. I thought they'd be better than they were, but I guess combining semi-enthusiastic teenagers, a sweltering un-airconditioned gym with cruddy acoustics, a boiling hot day, and a band that's contractually obliged to pimp their sponsors every five minutes, gets you a mediocre show.
Although maybe I'm just bitter 'cause I didn't get any of the freebies... hahah.

Because apparently, from what I've heard, theres MLC in Melbourne too.
The MLC I go to is in Perth.

I agree totally with everything, and envy those of you with the bands coming to school.
Our funding from the government got cut this year because we have less students. I got all my lessons changed and I no longer have Music or Mulitmedia like I was supposed too.
My friends and I get things thrown at us and abused by other students, "the cool kids" (AKA little blonde sluts who run around in a belt and call it a skirt on a 15 degree day...).
It really is a disaster zone, I reccomend not coming here. This school is in SA.
I myself am moving soon because I am not getting a good education here at all. I recomend maybe... Woodcroft College (private), my boyfriend goes there and says its a good school, and not costly.

yer i go to Geelong grammar in victoria and last year we had goodnight nurse and some other awesome bands come.. me and my friends were right at the front and we all got called emo n shit while we were waiting coz we wanted to get right at the front but i think it was so worth it!!!

i've got a few friends from GGS, and after goodnight nurse last year, one of them was like "omg, i'm so in love with paul [the drummer], and he looked at me!"... it was pretty funny. i wish bands'd come to my school...
ah well, they come to my uni now... but i have to pay for that =P

I go to St. Mary's, in the city.

SMC is a pretty good school.

yeah there's a MLC in Sydney. There's no way we could have afforded that...I wouldn't spend hundreds on the uniform itself.

btw I've finished high school but I went to Cheltenham Girls High in Sydney...if you've heard rumours about all PINK dresses that was us. I didn't mind that because pink used to be my favourite colour but now i can't stand looking at it. I would've dyed it black and stuck a red tie on, on muck up day if I was in year 12 now.

someone mentioned little blonde preps...they're in every school. Our ones generally didn't do anything to you if you have nothing to do with them. The proudest thing I've done to one of them (mwahahah) was in year 7 when I shouted "you're a BITCH" to her like 10 metres from behind and she was like, "WHAT did you call me?" *jaw hanging open* But then I wouldn't have dared if it was in Year 9 because she got way meaner.

I go to Dandenong High School which is a public school in Melbourne and yes I'm sane.

i went to gladstone state high school in qld, it was alright..... but no decent bands ever came... although one christian group did play in too deep by sum 41.................

if you know whats good for you, you will not come to rosewood state high school!! its a hole....i do not like it. but unfortunately its the best school in the area...
