hahahahahaha
you guys SERIOUSLY have tassie holiday ads?
oh man.
but really, about 7 bogans once came up to me and went
"do you want us to slit your wrists for ya?", and one of them took a knife out, i hadnt ever seen them around before, i was so scared..
but these hippies realized what was going on, and came over and made them go away..
sounds a bit farfetched, but it happened.
meep!
does anyone know how long it takes for merch from the mcr online store to arrive in australia?

Age: 35 Gender: Female Posts: 2281 | February 7th, 2008 at 12:53am Ditto! I wanna do the LotR tour. *LotR nerd*
Speaking of, Minotaur is a LotR haven. Not as much as it used to be, but still good.
I used to eyegasm every time going down those escalators to be greeted with a life size cardboard cut out of Legolas. |

don't bring back the Leg-o-las hype from high school please!
Shame i didn't get to spend enough time at Minotaur that time...such a sweet nook of a shop. |

Age: 35 Gender: Female Posts: 2281 | February 7th, 2008 at 01:24am Lawl. I started to Legolas hype in my high school. Not like I'm over it yet... I'm, and always have been, LotR obsessed. Before the movies, though. Pretty much, anyone who's remotely connected with LotR, I love.
Minotaur always spins me out for the simple fact that MCR went there. I can't walk in there without freaking out. I can't walk in there with my friends without them teasing me by saying I could be standing right where they stood lol. |

I got total shivers down my spine when I read that! It was exactly what I thought when i put my foot on the floor of that shop...like "omg i'm standing on the same ground Gerard stood on" (*takes off shoes*holy ground*hopes they haven't mopped the floor since he came*exaggeration*) |

Age: 35 Gender: Female Posts: 2281 | February 7th, 2008 at 02:28am Lmao, it's a bit like that. One can't resist a good fangirl moment like that.
I used to do the same thing in music venues. Be all "OMG I can't believe so and so was in this room". Not so much now, cause I've seen too many. |

Age: 36 Gender: Female Posts: 2188 | February 7th, 2008 at 06:39am I think it was said on the Aussies/kiwis thread sometime in january 2007 that a friend of a friend of someone here (some sort of connection i dunno) saw them at minotaur & I got 'pissed' that MCR hates sydney cuz they didn't show up at Kings Comics. |

badger them into showing me ones they liked and then buy every comic they touched?
is that too fanatical?

Age: 36 Gender: Female Posts: 2188 | February 7th, 2008 at 06:48am ^^ I know!!! everything is so fake & commercialised now! I swear punk is almost dead. Wouldn't it be fun to sit around one day with friends and make pants patched from old tartan fabrics & stick bits of metal in it like what they did in the old days...
hey has anyone been to a Utopia instore show before? Just wondering where they play...is it downstairs? |

Age: 35 Gender: Female Posts: 2281 | February 7th, 2008 at 06:49am Perhaps lol.
Me, I'd just die. Of shyness. Before having even spoken to them. Hence why I should never ever meet one of my bands ever. Hell, making eye contact with them in the mosh just about kills me. |

I actually stood in the comic book store in sydney for a while waiting for Gerard to show up any minute. I didn't even bother asking myself too much what I'd do if he showed up. Too bad it never happened. |

Age: 35 Gender: Female Posts: 2281 | February 7th, 2008 at 07:00am Most people I know who saw them in shops weren't looking, they just happened to run into them. Which would be heart attack amterial, I'd imagine.
Adelaide friends of mine saw them in Rundle (sp?) Mall both times the toured here. |
