A friend of mine went in there once and came out feeling high, and I had to leave once cause I was feeling dizzy. I'm not sure what said smoke stuff is, but I'm sure you can use your imagination. |

the stall [would you call it a stall? small shop? shop like stall?] selling band merch is brilliant... the people working there actually know what they're talking about.
the stalls selling socks/stockings/etc. are wicked.
i even found some trip pants when i was there <3
just sucks i didnt buy them. |

The shirt smells cause it was probably in the shop for too long - I had to use like a whole can of impulse on it but it still stinks real bad. |

I think he's been in Utopia Records too
I like that store but its pretty pricey. the 70's punks didnt have alot of money how would they afford $150 tartan pants these days
tell me about it! i went there yesterday and all the non band merch clothing was over $100. i would never buy a shirt for more than 50 bucks tbh.
as for Paddy's, Blackwave (the big band merch place) is pretty awesome. the people working there are really cool and they always give me free badges |

Age: 36 Gender: Female Posts: 2188 | April 3rd, 2008 at 08:29am ^ agreed! but then I don't like Blackwave's shirts. They're so short & ill-fitting.
And i'll never buy one of those belts from merch stores for anything over $25
I've gotten mention- Dangerfield fitting rooms are soo awesome! LOL, me and Sheryl (you know her Avril) went to 2 Dangerfields the other day & went ducking in and out of every fitting room to check out their concert posters they stick in there. |

Age: 36 Gender: Female Posts: 2281 | April 3rd, 2008 at 08:57pm ^ I met up with a group of girls from the TLE forum, and we went to some random shop and in the changerooms the walls were plastered with band pictures. So there we are taking photos in the changerooms of all the TLE pics, running from changeroom to changeroom shouting "Look, here they are again!"
... you reckon we didn't get some odd looks. |
