Hey!

I downloaded this:Imtoo Encoder which is really easy to use and it will change most things or you can use: Super Encoder, which is more complicated but works, it will usually save what it encodes into your C: drive.

Hope this helps!

I have a question about PhotoFiltre.
When I go to Filter > Photomasque and I apply a mask, it comes up black and white. Is there anyway I can put a mask on in colour?

There's a free download so you don't have to buy it, but I presume the one you can buy does more stuff.

If the other one you've found works, will you let me know what it is?
Thanks,
Jenni xx

Hey everyone!

Not sure if this question should go here, but since I started the thread I'll try!

MAC vs PC

I've got a Compaq laptop at the moment, but I'm seriously considering chaning it for an Apple Mac. Can anyone tell me if they have swapped or which they prefer - Mac or PC? It's a lot of money to spend and I don't want to make a bad decision, but I'm going to New York next week and they are 2/3rds of the price than in the UK, so that would definitely be the best time to buy!

Thanks if anyone can help.

Does anyone know a good site to convert youtube vids for your ipod because media-convert.com and vixy.net doesn't work for me all the time?

this is a totally stupid question, it really is.
But say I have a picture and I want to edit/crop it. Say...I have a picture of MCR and I want to cut around them, how do I do it?
I have Photoshop CS2. Surely not just with the rubber?
I tried 'magic wand' but...it's weird. Takes out all the colour thats alike.
If you could help me I'd be really greatful

Magic wand selects similar colored connecting things, I'm pretty sure. You can use the lasso tool, drag it around the outline, and then refine it. To refine it, you use two of the shift/alt etc. buttons. I forget which, but when you get the right one, either a plus or a minus will come up next to the mouse clicker. They can be used to add to or subtract from the selection and make it look nicer. It's annoying, but that's how to do it. After that, you can either copy paste to a new canvas or you can invert the selection add a black layer mask to the inverted selection so it makes that area transparent, and then you can work with the area you want without eliminating the possibilty of getting the other part back.

There was a user on LJ called Peoplemachines.
And she made awesome textures.
I had a few, but I want more.
But now she's kinda packed up, and promised a website, but has so far not delivered.
So does anyone have any of her textures or anything?
If not, anyone have any good LARGE black and white textures?

[I know I really cross-posted, but I'm desperate.]
