so was she. I'm putting the lyrics to that song in her mausoleum. |

It brings back really amazing memories of following MCR on tour, the happiest time of my life with my best friends - "We laughed so hard, it would sting."
But then it just makes me miss that time, and I miss it so much it hurts. |

Age: - Gender: - Posts: 281 | March 23rd, 2007 at 02:54pm Cancer reminds me of my uncle, who not only died of cancer much too young but loved the band almost as much as I do. Disenchanted is just sort of depressing, as is Sleep. I Don't Love You reminds me of the worst relationship I'veever been in, abusive on many levels, but those were the last words I said to him as I walked out the door--'I don't love you.' So in a way, it's kind of empowering. It's also the way I broke up with my most recent ex. I played him the song and he understood. |

I avoided it for a while after the cd came out...then I told myself I had to listen to it..
so I did.
I cried my eyes out the first time I listened to it, but I couldn't stop listening.
It had a hold of me. I seriously could not take it off of repeat on my mp3 player.
I spent an entire 2 hours sobbing over it...as you can tell I was affected by cancer...
it was my grandpa...it doesn't sound like as much of a loss as say, a parent...but it hurt...for a long time. That song helped me over it. |
