I don't know why, but the part in 'House of Wolves' where it goes:
"Ashes to Ashes they all fall down, I wanna hear you sing the praise"
Always reminds me of the bit with the coffin in the FOB 'this ain't a scene' . Odd... |
Green Faerie Salute You in Your Grave
Age: 37 Gender: Female Posts: 2903 | January 16th, 2008 at 08:42pm I have a hard time listening to Ghost of You at the moment. I can't listen to the song without thinking about the video, and I find that impossible whilst my friend is fighting in Iraq.
Honey, FLW and IDLY all remind me of my last relationship, but I can still listen to them because they remind me of the positive factors around the separation.

Disenchanted - It makes me think of all my hopeless, broken dreams
Sleep - The guitar solo makes me cry
Ghost of You - It reminds me of my great grandpa..
I could probably list more. |

Age: 33 Gender: Female Posts: 304 | March 2nd, 2008 at 12:22am Skylines & Turnstiles is also hard for me, it makes me sad and I get flashbacks of the towers just collapsing and people running out of the towers completely covered in ashes. |

Age: 30 Gender: Female Posts: 173 | March 2nd, 2008 at 12:43am I don't cry easily... but Cancer is hard sometimes cause my teacher I had two years ago died of Cancer recently. I cried the next time I heard Cancer.
The Ghost of You video cause of Mikey... and Gerard....
Demolition Lovers is hard cause it's really sad and beautiful. The guitar solo almost makes me cry.
I saw the movie "Enchanted" once and some of it was really sad and poignant before it got to the happy ending and stuff.... and I cried the next time I heard Disenchanted. |

Age: - Gender: Female Posts: 14066 | November 10th, 2008 at 07:15am Cancer. It's beautiful, but hard to listen to. I don't know anyone with cancer or who died of it, but it just gets me thinking... SO many people's lives are taken by it, and so many people are affected.

Age: 29 Gender: Female Posts: 10 | November 10th, 2008 at 11:37pm I cried the other day when I listened to Disenchanted because it made me think of all my broken dreams, the places I wanted to reach but couldn't see myself reaching.
Cancer made me sob when I listened to it for the first time, I mean really listened to it. Then in like, a week, I jacked the plays up to 200.
And kind of unrelated, but I cried my eyes out when Frank's grandmother died. D= |
