It's not that you don't like the song, or that it's your least favorite. It's just that you don't see why it's so popular. But I don't really need to explain. Don't get mad and say this is disloyal to MCR or anything like that, cuz I'm not listening. Everybody knows what overrated means. Just remember that overrated doesn't mean bad, and it's all good. 
That said...here's some off the top of my head.
1. 'Welcome To The Black Parade": Everybody loves this song. Even people who hate MCR love this song and say it's why they picked up "The Black Parade". It's a fine song, overplayed a bit. I just don't see the huge deal.
2. 'Famous Last Words': Ditto.
3. 'I'm Not Ok(I Promise)': The song that brought them into the mainstream, along with 'Helena'. Their most poppy song, in my opinion. Not that poppy is a bad thing but...I dunno. |

Who don't give a damn about My Chemical Romane or anything having to do with them, that listen to the music and not the lyrics, and only care about the music because of the band memebers they find attractive. It's because it's not as serious as previous ones. And now everyone thinks that the band is the best thing since music itself, because of one deep, yet lighthearted song.
Haha, I like Helena, I hate it when they play it on the radio and such. I'm so protective over My Chem, honestly, I think they have no right to play such a personal song unless everyone listening has experienced that sort of pain. |
