Welcome To The Black Parade - Way overplayed, drew too many teenies.
Teenagers - Played on the radio too much, people get the wrong message from it.
I'm Not Okay - Got them too mainstream.

Age: 32 Gender: Female Posts: 143 | June 12th, 2008 at 03:10pm I'm actually going to say "Skylines and Turnstiles". Sure, it's the first MCR song that was ever written, and it has a good message. But I've never understood what's so great about the song itself, according to me it's one of the weaker ones. |

Age: 32 Gender: Female Posts: 1742 | June 12th, 2008 at 05:34pm welcome to the black parade, its an amazing song but it attracted too many teenies and it made MCR a craze amongst the popular kids for about 2 weeks which was rather annoying. |

Age: 32 Gender: Female Posts: 2065 | June 12th, 2008 at 07:06pm mindfuck.:I think the most overrated song is Cancer. Everyone goes on about how great it is, but I don't see it. Yes, it's moving - but to me, it's really cheesy and I feel the way it sounds and the tempo is out of place on TBP.
You know...I agree. I just think it skims over the real horrifying effects of cancer. I understand the simplicity is part of the beauty but...I don't know, I just feel like it was a bit cliche? |
So Bitter. Really Not Okay
Age: 29 Gender: Female Posts: 690 | June 12th, 2008 at 09:22pm I think Welcome To The Black Parade and Teenagers. Both are good songs, but anti-MCR people like them too. Even my mom likes them, but thinks the band "talks about death too much." |

Teenagers--It doesn't really have a place in TBP to me.
I'm Not Okay--It's wayy to popular. |

Honestly I love the song but it really annoyed me how a bunch of kids came into school later that week were all like "I love that band!" and I'm like "Oh yeah? What's your favorite song off of Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge?"
and they're like "No, I said I like My Chemical Romance... I don't know the band you just named."
I really wish MTV would sticks to rap and R&B. |

I agree...and I'll add "I Don't Love You" and "Dead", here in our country, ever since the two was released it was being played in the radio for like every 5 minutes, and it's also probably dew to "posers". |

I don't see the big fuss with that song. You could go so far as to say I hate it, even. :\ |

I love each and every one of their songs. |

Age: 30 Gender: Female Posts: 129 | July 10th, 2008 at 10:03pm welcome to the black parade. I don't mind the song but it just reminds me of the teenies at shows that only know this song and don't even like the band. |
