In other words, what's the song you didn't like at first and usually skipped...but after giving it a few listens, you grew to love(or at least like) it. I hate to say it, but pretty much every song on "The Black Parade" except "Mama", "Teenagers", and to an extent "Welcome To The Black Parade" had to grow on me. On "Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge" only "Helena" and "You Know What They Do To Guys Like Us In Prison"(which I fucking played out!) appealed. On "I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love", I only liked "Vampires Will Never Hurt You". I had to grow into almost every song...some of them I've only come to appreciate very recently. "Drowning Lessons", "This Is The Best Day Ever", "Disenchented", etc. |

It definately took me a few listens to actually get into it.Umm, I pretty much liked all of 'Revenge', most of 'Bullets', but took me awhile to get used to 'Honey, This Mirror Isn't Big Enough....'. |

The Way Joining The Black Parade
Age: 32 Gender: Female Posts: 176 | March 31st, 2007 at 08:46am Most of the songs on Bullets, like Honey and Demolition. Still working on Best Day.
On revenge... Give Em Hell, Jetset, Deathwish, Cemetery Drive. I didn't like Hang Em High much before, but now its one of my favorite MCR songs. (chorus!)
On the Black Parade... House of Wolves, Sleep (the talking in the first part was boring). I fell in love with Cancer and Disenchanted (first four lines!) at first listen, as well as The End (if you look in the mirror...)
Unreleased songs... I liked Desert Song definitely, as well as Kill All, Heaven, Christmas, and My Way Home. Had to warm up to Jack and Sister, since they weren't well-recorded. |
