So my band is now only me and my biffle. She's the singer and rhythm guitarist and I'm still the lead guitarist and back-up vocals. We have some songs we're working on:

Watch (We don't know if that's the title - thats just what we call it)
I think other songs too but my mind is blank right now...
We both write lyrics except I go on this site and post my lyrics - she doesn't. But she writes FRICKIN AMAZING lyrics. She wrote a song for me and it made me cry (in a good way).... but that's a whole other story that i REALLY dont want to ge into...
Our band name is: A Cut Above The Rest (For short - A Cut Above) It used to be black precision. |

We've been a band for about three months. We're still finalizing the lineup.
First, our bass player quit, but we found a new one really quickly.
Then, our lead singer/rhythm guitarist quit. We've found a singer, but have no idea where to find a new rhythm guitarist.
The lead guitarist is amazing, though, and jesus, she's twelve years old and can already shred like Brian May. |

i play in Starlight Raygun, the band with the worst name in existance (i fought so hard against that name)
The band is me on drums, Seymour on lead guitar, Josh (we call him Bass Guy or Patsy) on rhythem guitar and Jim on bass.
We've played a few gigs so far, the best was probably Punkfest in September...that was mad fun!!

Posts: 13 | November 26th, 2008 at 09:32pm I'm trying to start a band called Beautiful Illness, but so far I've only got my voice and a bass player, and someone on keyboard, so I have a long way to come. The name Beautiful Illness is about depression, since the songs I've written are about mine and the bass players (who is also writing songs for me to sing) depression. The reason it's beautiful is because someone who's never been depressed doesn't relize how wonderful it is to be happy... Please no one steal out name, but I already have it copy written...
Can you guys rate my voice ona scale of 1-10, 10 being best? I know I suck in this song because I had a cold and I'm still re-training myself to sing.

My Chicago. We want to change it, but we've kinda become attached to it. We have somebody who could manage us maybe in a year or two, although she's from Seattle.
I play guitar.
But we need another guitarist and a drummer. The lead vocalist plays drums a bit, but she can't do both.
Does anyone know how we can find members?
We want someone nearby so we can practice, it's just hard to find anybody. |
