I've got it, it's got some great songs but I doubt that they were all especially inspirational for mcr.

i've got it! some of them are good, some of them are crap. but it's a bit suspicious because some of the people that they always mention influenced them (like in interviews and stuff) aren't on there, like smashing pumkins, iron maiden, others and others which i can't remember...

I have 2 major complaints. 1- it doesnt have the black flag song "revenge" which inspired the second album. 2- it doesnt have any of the bands most commonly reffered to as their inspiration ie smashing pumpkins, the smiths, and iron maiden.

Well did Kerrang! organize it or My Chemical Romance?

I think Kerrang! did. It would be nice to have something like that actually from the band.

Yeah. Since its mcrs influences, mcr should have dictated what songs got put on it.

It really does appear to have bands that they probably do actually listen to. At lest, that's what was listed in the magazine as well; but the majority of them came from Mikey, Gerard and Frank, I think Bob and Ray only have 1 song each.
