I went yesterday. Muse were amazing but the day sucked and the support bands sucked even harder [apart from The Streets, who were actually GOOD.]

Why did the day suck, and what was wrong with Rodreigo Y Gabriela? My Mum said they were fantastic.

1. We were set to leave at 9am but didn't leave until almost 10 because we had to figure out our entire rout all over again because there was no parking at Wembley available.
2. We got lost.
3. The tube journey took AGES.
4. We got wet in the queue.
5. There was a torrential downpour once we were in the stadium and they didn't close the roof even though there were cries of despair and even chants to get the roof closed. Instead everyone in the gold circle got soaked to the bone because we weren't allowed out of the circle until it was full, otherwise we'd lose our place. Then we were FREEZING cold.
6. The first support bad and Dirty Pretty Things were SO tedious. Yeah, the first band were really good but would be better playing a tiny folk festival than trying to get 75,000 drenched people psyched.
7. Muse were on 20 minutes late because the stage had flooded.
8. I was badly crushed during their opening song.

And...yeah. I was basically upset because I know how much better today would have been - more organised, better weather, better bands - you get the drift!

Aww sorry you had a bad time Bess Sad

I got stuck in London last night because the tube was so badly organised....my mate had to come and get me from Earls Court as the train just stopped there without a follow-on bus. Was fuming!!!

yesterday was just too awesome to describe .... the weather was glorious, not too keen on the sunburn I have now though lol

The first band Shy Child gave me an awful headache......were awful!
Biffy were great, but I would love to see them in a smaller venue as they dont have the stage presence to work such a huge place. They have the music to though Very Happy

My Chem were wonderful Very Happy Gerard looked fantastic, could tell they were all hyped up for it. It was quite rough in the moshpit at times....but was great fun LOL

Cant remember all they played but think it was a shorter version of the Download set. No special effects, just stripped down kick-ass rock !!

Was in the golden circle by the screen on the right.....took some fantastic pics cant post em till tomorrow tho as I'm at my mate's in London and wont get home till late tonight

As for Muse Very Happy Very Happy I've been going to gigs for over 20 years now and I have NEVER seen anything like that in my life!! Matt Bellamy is a musical genius Very Happy
